This is the single most hilarious scene in TNG history.

Scene blooper, Riker unplugs the Jukebox and you can see the plug 🔌 in his hand, then later, Dr. Zephran Cochrane hits the Jukebox and turns it in without 🔌 plugging it back in.

I think my favorite part might be the little dent her finger makes on his jacket lol 😂

I didnt like drunk Cromwell as Cochrane. The guy who portrayed Cochrane in TOS was much better. Marina did her comedic scenes here perfectly.

For all of Marina Sirt's pretty ropey acting over the years, her drunk acting is spot on.

I remember seeing this in the cinema at the premiere, and we were all laughing, it was a great scene, being there for this film, it was I think one of the best films Star Trek put out, used the whole cast from TNG,

all throughout Trek Lord, they bigged up Cochrane's image as "a genius, a pioneer, a visionary." Then we meet the man and he was a sexist, crazy drunk who was doing it for the money. Now THATS a subversion of expectation. Instead of him being all sombre and "Oh im just doing my part for humanity", instead he is all "yehaw just get wasted and make money" Merica, hell yeah! woooooo!" smashes glass bottle

I’m sure there’s a deleted scene somewhere with Troi vomiting all over Commander Riker’s shoes the following morning.

How many takes did this require to get it right? And no,Two can't always be the answer here because of some "Two-Take Frakes" myth. I'd read somewhere thqt they couldn't get her to act even slightly drunk so eventually John had her drinking tequila until they got the scene perfect.

Riker: I introduced you to it on our second date.

Classic. Deanna's best scene. Loads of comedy. It took me 3 tequilas to find out his name and the last 20 minutes keeping his hands of me. Don't go questioning my technique. In my professional opinion, he's nuts. Passes out drunk, does for it me. Deserves an Oscar.

In 32 years of law enforcement there I found there are always two constants.

1. No owner of an internal combustion engine machine has ever parked anywhere for longer than 30 seconds.

2. No one who is drunk will ever admit to being drunk.

I think Jonathan was mostly trying not to piss himself at Marina and her drunk Troi.

One of the funniest scenes from the movie especially when Deanna starts drunkenly going on about there's no time to talk about time..

She's clearly not used to drinking real alcoholic drinks.

It was wise of them to leave about the part of him marrying a cloud.

In STO, there's a mission where you have to fend off borg drones in this vicinity, alongside Seven of Nine. All the while, when you get to the bar, you hear this scene from outside.

When trios fell flat on the table I thought that Dr. Cochrane did his victory dance because he won the drinking contest😅😅😅😂😂🎉❤

Well, here it is, the very best moment of all Trek, and not a single phasor, tricorder, transporter, replicator, warp drive, photon torpedo, comlink (or even a captain) in sight. Just three people living in the moment.
