I have been following you for years. Last year, I finally joined Jujitsu gym. now after a year of training. I will try my first competition, No gi (Adcc). wish me luck🙏🏅
ОтветитьNice one mate 👍
ОтветитьHi Chewy; another great video - thanks! Can you reshare the pdf; I can't download from the links.
Ответитьhand writing isn't even bad
ОтветитьVery helpful, thanks Chewy!
ОтветитьAs a white belt, I really appreciate that you raised the point about being crushed in the bottom of half guard. It happens to me a lot.
ОтветитьWhen he said my first name at the end, I pooped myself
ОтветитьIt's pretty legible thanks!
ОтветитьVery informative and helpful. Thank you.
ОтветитьAnd I’m bakinggg in the sun! 🎶
Ответитьlol yeah that does look like 3rd grade handwriting
ОтветитьGood video, thanks pal
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьCough*Dyslexia*cough
ОтветитьDude his handwriting is not that bad at all
ОтветитьMaybe he lost his pen licence and never got it back 🥲
Ответитьthat is fantastic handwriting chewy.
ОтветитьLove ❤️ ya Brotha please more
ОтветитьBro, if that handwriting on the board is yours, its WAY better than mine. Mine legit looks like wingdings font
ОтветитьGot a question:
Been purple for a year or so and competed at least once a year since into bjj. At every competition my 1st fight was crap…how can I be „awake“ or in competition mode already at the 1st fight?
From guard the shoulder crunch sumi gaeshi
Or double butters
Awesome video helped a lot.
ОтветитьCompeting in my first competition in August! Coach told me to build a game plan so here I am, Appreciate all the information. I know this is an older video now but the information's still golden! Thank you for all you do for the BJJ Community.
Ответить+2 points for controlling the white board
ОтветитьThanks brother! Got the pdf! I’ll compete for the first time in July. Thirty nine year old 3 stripe white belt.
ОтветитьExtremely helpful 5 years later as I'm prepping for my first comp. as a white belt. Thank you!
Ответитьpost part 2
ОтветитьYour handwriting isn’t bad it’s just not good either😂 definitely better then mine
ОтветитьMy first competition will be this Saturday, this video was extremely helpful...
ОтветитьThank you for the tips ! I sort of had a plan like this when I did my first comp in 2019. But I didn't listen to my coach and wrestled too much in the gold medal match and got clobbered by a very technical side control opponent. But ,lesson learned, hoping to compete again, 2020 ? 2021 ? Be safe .
ОтветитьGame plan A: ankle picks/sweep singles & throws
Game plan B: Jada Smith, gimme them ankles
Very helpful! Thanks, Chew. I heard your interview in Grappling Central Podcast, you are a Legend mate.
ОтветитьWhat would i do for all that money?
Be on the bottom in side control.
I'll take my reward in $20s
Hey! I am going to my very first competition in two weeks. What would you suggest eating the day before the competition and on the day of the competition? What would you suggest doing while waiting for your match? What would you recommend to do to calm you down? Thanks a lot, Bernie
ОтветитьShouldn't all the arrows in the flowchart point to: Have a beard?
ОтветитьI am going to a Grappling industries event to watch. I plan to see how the competitors do off what you have presented to see how they do it. So do you think that there is an average that it should cost for classes where it shouldn't cost any less than (best idea) or any more than (best Idea).
ОтветитьSo it's helpful with the order shown. but if we could see it in practice by example. Both by step and maybe at full speed.
Thanks
Always solid advice. Thanks for the venerable contributions to us all grasping for knowledge, sponging what we can through our jiu jitsu journeys!
Ответитьwoah your printing is so similar to mine, maybe slightly better haha
ОтветитьReally liked this video!
ОтветитьThanks Chewy! I haven't don't a tournament in about 6 years. This certainly helps me break it down into a more simplified and focused approach. I've got just over 2 months until my competition, so plenty of time to formulate a plan and practice.
ОтветитьI've got a competition in January and your videos have helped so much, thanks Chewi.
ОтветитьYour handwriting is infinitely better than mine
ОтветитьHave my first competition July 28. I’ve been doing bjj on and off for a little over 2 years. I really hope to do well but sometimes when I spar I just feel like I’m floundering around. Idk if that’s just bc I’m terrible at bjj or because I’m a smaller-built female trying to spar with bigger dudes. I’m doing gi and no gi in hopes of winning at least 1 match. Any advice?
ОтветитьGot my elbow completely ripped apart at a comp. Off work for 3 months +. FUCK going to comps if you have a family to support.
ОтветитьI'm just an ordinary guy
ОтветитьGreat video!
ОтветитьThis guy is a legend. Thanks bro
ОтветитьI remember the first time I seen this vid I only had a few of these things covered n that was my 2nd competition the more I kept competing I watched this vid again n I got a few more things I can do but not everything now that I'm bout to do Pan ams I have at least more then 3 techniques for every position
This is another way that ik I have progressed. Thanks chewy you the real MVP
