ОтветитьI have it on good authority that Paul is “the peoples champ” and “something of a baller”and then something about Impala’s and sitting incorrectly.
ОтветитьHey, just a quick thing I noticed. Have you guys considered adding chapters/ timestamps to these podcasts?
ОтветитьGreat pod cast, I now realise how little I know about injections....
ОтветитьI'm curious at what point MTBE becomes a problem for injectors. In Aus the MSDS for BP ultimate 98RON lists mtbe in quantities less than 1%
ОтветитьSuper interesting Episode! Paul is a wealth of knowledge! FYI the episode with KC Kuhnhausen was longer :P
ОтветитьGreat content as usual! I only wished you guys touched on airflow dynamics of the plenum design and how that changes the ideal injector mounting positions (overhead vs on the side of the runner, etc). It sounds like he has experimental knowledge about what goes on in there and I imagine it is anything but predictable.
ОтветитьVery informative. Thanks
ОтветитьLoving the info about injector offset, and pulses in the fuel rail system, thanks Andre.
ОтветитьThis was outstanding! Thanks for all of the info. I love all the details that normally get overlooked.
ОтветитьVery interesting.
Sorry to say but the calculator on the injector dynamic site doesnt seem to work as intended..
Excellent and informative - many thanks.
Ответитьdope info,
My fuel regulator is about 1' away from my upper fuel rail (FC Rx7) and I might try and move it directly on to the fuel rail.
Thoroughly enjoyed the deep dive and the "why's" behind it all!
ОтветитьGreat podcast a lot information.Hi Performance Academy you guys doing GREAT job!!!!
ОтветитьAnother great Podcast from you guys! I save these podcasts up so I can listen to these on long journeys, They are great for learning new theories and applying them to parts of my own build. I have a question about how Injector choice is effected if the engine is running wasted fuel, can there be issues in terms of injector dwell time at high RPM as the injector fires twice?
ОтветитьLove the podcast and well presented information! Keep up the great work.
ОтветитьSo when is the time to run multiple injectors per cylinder? Any special disadvantages ?
ОтветитьThis was one of the most informative conversations I’ve ever listened to as an up and coming tuner! Ive been in the automotive industry professionally for ~20 years in service and 30yrs for personal pleasure aftermarket applications. I got into tuning a few years ago and really had to shift my thought process from the standard service/diagnostics mentality of “how things work” to “why things work”. Any information you guys can disseminate on the proverbial “why things work” I know will benefit me and am sure your other viewers/students. Thanks again guys, keep it up.
ОтветитьThe gold standard Paul Yaw Rx7 carb was dream I never managed to get. twenty years later and I have a fuel injected SA22C and went with Injector Dynamics. I later found out that ID is Paul's company. In a grander way my dream was realized.
ОтветитьLoved the podcast, very informative
ОтветитьAfter quite a bit of school and training then years of real world learning I would never think I knew everything..never but I thought I had a firm grasp on the what's hows and why's of my small niche of the motorsport world until I took a job at the R&D department of a vehicle manufacturer that I wont name here but the large parts of the things they were looking at and adjusting or changing ect was so far past the point of where I would have ever thought of looking at and the information on things just like the subject here just the fuel injectors and the adjustments made on such a small scale that makes a large difference was mindblowing to me... the couple years I spent there was way more informative and valuable to me than the years of school I paid for lol
Ответить"Getting bad data is easy"
Ответитьandre killin it!
ОтветитьHey can you guys debunk the bosch CNG 1700ccs ? For gasoline
ОтветитьGreat topic, really good points.
ОтветитьI taught myself through studying bosch ME7.1 and ME7.5 ecus via FR’s and guides on nefmoto. Every lesson in this interview mirrors what ive learned there from those old bosch documents. Very good stuff.
Injector dynamics are the only injectors ill ever run.
I guess for me, if I were to be asked for an advice to fast track my career on where I am now. I would say, stay in school yes, take a course in college that you think can lead you to a job in motorsports, but also, for the schools itself. Have a course that teaches students about their interest as well since like Andre said, it's always hard to be in school we're you can see the carrot that you are aiming for. Make courses more interesting, invite people who are in the industry who students are aiming to be to let see the end results if they a good job staying in school. Entice students.❤
ОтветитьSuch a good podcast. I'm a year late, but i have a question on the position of the injector.
Is there any advantage to pointing the injector against the airflow in the runner instead of pointing at the intake valve?
Does Injector Dynamics offer a service to clean, balance, modify, service or improve old and used injectors?
Thanks Andre and HPA team 🏆💪
Had a problem with 13b with 2200cc injectors at around 2krpm i would get a random lean spot i thaught it was the injectors lol now watching this it must have been the pulsation problem this is nuts i literally done what Subaru done hahahahahah😊
ОтветитьThis podcast and HPA podcasts in general are excellent. So much information packed in here. Thanks a lot doing these.
