I think with the crew they have on board they will have a bike like the sought after years of other OEM's. Dave Arnold has seen the best chassis designs in the history of the sport and with out the Japanese pressure on the final say this thing might just be amazing. I would definitely buy one. I hope they succeed and introduce Enduro and D.S. models.
ОтветитьI hope the frame is like the old YZ450F 2006. I liked that bike, it was slim with a flat seat, 1st Gen KYB SSS fork, titanium shock spring, that bike handled great!
ОтветитьThey need to put Deagan on it !
ОтветитьIt must win a race atleast unless you're triumph fan
ОтветитьTo me, Triumph has botched this so bad from a PR standpoint. I was excited at the initial announcement. I couldn't even tell you approximately when that was because it has been far too long. Now they come out and show us the bare frame!? Keep your mouth shut until you have a bike to show!
ОтветитьTriumph has great quality control. I liked the 06-09 YZ250/450F, especially 08/09... Predictable and still decent turning. Love the new bike roll out as well... Always keep em wanting more.
ОтветитьI hope its not cannondale 2.0 😂😂
ОтветитьFrame looks pretty similar to the yz250.
ОтветитьTriumph build excellent products. Triumph will need great winning riders, ditto mechanics, & tuners on their machines to short cycle the trip to the podiums ! This will be great for the industry. Now, if they will jus get back on Flattrack racing 😍❤. Thx
ОтветитьToo bad they export the work to 3rd world countries, totally sold out UK labor. A logo on a tshirt or Triumph badge belt buckle cool. LOL!
ОтветитьIt all sounds good. When I think Triumph,I see the old school green they used to have . Lord I hope it's not green.
ОтветитьShame it’s going to made in Malaysia or Taiwan. This is not a British bike.
ОтветитьThey should make a 350 because that seems to be the sweet spot. It also needs to be great because no one will just take a chance on this
Ответитьis that an AUDIX D4???
Ответитьricky looks like he just left a TRIUMPH concert in the 80s
ОтветитьI think they are taking their time
In analysis of all the OEM brands is the correct direction.
Remember Triumphs being sold in the sixties, with a piece of carpet to absorb the leaking oil. Actually had a "T" on it. Hope they have improved their quality control department.🤣
ОтветитьThink Cannondale.
ОтветитьThat frame shown, those long welds running to the neck do not look pretty. I guess they must be strong, embarrassing having welds looking like that. Maybe the Robots are not into visuals and uniform laying in the runs. Being familiar with precision custom welding jobs, they have superior finish to Triumph's welds. The old school Bronzes welds done with inline fluxes look superior. My friend associate Ken McKintosh Racing NZ welds are stunning to look at and superb strength. To be honest Triumph's welds they are the worst appearing welds I have seen, maybe production will be better ?. Well hope their MX bike is a success.
ОтветитьThey need 2 strokes too
ОтветитьTriumph makes incredible street bikes. Their R&D is only enhanced by their support group; RC et al. Ohlin suspension on dirt bikes? Has that ever been done?
ОтветитьGreat video. Very exciting to hear Triump is taking the leap to dirt….but wonder why it’s happening honestly. And why are they so late to the game? Are street market shares falling? Either way, they’ve assembled some heavy hitters (especially Dave) to ensure all this effort isn’t for naught. Good luck to them. Looking forward to seeing the final product. Another factory effort is always a good thing.
ОтветитьI’m waiting for the Hodaka combat wombat m 4 and Greeves m5 the competition won’t know what hit um
ОтветитьThey need to make the best power and handling bikes they can and if they can put some comfortability in thatix even better
ОтветитьI saw Carmichael at ponca I was on a cr250. He lapped me on a beat up kx80. Dam he's fast
ОтветитьI think it’s great but they need a 2 stroke Enduro bike
Ответитьquality controll is top shelf.
RC is the man for the PR aspect.
race on Sunday, sell on Monday
Is it going to leak oil? How about Lucas electrical you know the "prince of darkness"
They have alot of work to do getting away from the stigma of anything British made with wheels being a piece of s h I t
I think the roll out is way to slow let’s go!!!
ОтветитьI simply hope that it won't ever become a black ktm...
ОтветитьI would definitely consider if it had 3 pipes and sounded like it wanted to kill everything in sight...
ОтветитьIt’s really a Good Things cause i ´m sick to see all the KTM KTMVARNA KTMGAS On thé race
ОтветитьIt has to be reliable to sell to the public. KTM is good if you have someone else paying all the bills. As they break too much and cost to much to fix all the time.
ОтветитьDont understand why they wont show pictures and design details already? The only reason could be that they havnt finalized the production bike yet. If i wanted a new 250f, why would i wait for a triumph bike i could possibly hate when theres so many options now.
Look how long people paid to wait for the tesla roadster and robby gordons speed sxs. People will wait if they are excited about the product.
Signing Carmichael was a genius move by Triumph. Instant credibility goes a long way for a brand new venture like this.
ОтветитьI think one model should be 2 stroke, I would buy the 2 stroke model 250 or 500 and built to the best of their ability. I would pay up to 13k
ОтветитьSeeing itfirst
ОтветитьKYB suspension is an odd choice for an English motorcycle. I'm interested to see how this turns out.
Ответитьabout time that the jap bikes get some new metal to race against ktm did it triumph can also
ОтветитьMy honest opinion is Triumph have been producing some great bikes in the recent years. I mean really great bikes, meaning I'm pretty confident they'll produce a top notch product. The only thing that will determine most people's opinion more than anything else, will be the it's price point. I'm confident they'll be building a great bike, it's how much they can build it for that will be the biggest factor. It's alright really wanting a bike it's another thing being able to afford it as well. Hopefully it's reasonably priced.
ОтветитьWill they produce a street version?
Ответитьi have three Triumphs...just bought a '23 Tiger 900 Rally and it is an awesome bike. I am sure the mx'er will be good
ОтветитьOk, no real information
ОтветитьSo far all HYPE😮
ОтветитьMinor facts and mostly BS. We recall what happened when FOMOCO re-entered racing.
ОтветитьI raced “Triumph’s” for years in the desert. I know…. THAT wuza long time ago. But for several decades the 50’z to the mid 70’z Triumph “ruled the roost”. And that ISNT counting all of the “Class C” championships they won, again for decades. The point IS when John Bloors bought “Triumph” OUTRIGHT he didn’t do it kuz he kinda liked motorcycles. This dude Bloors AINT as my Limmey friends say “messin about”. A good friend of mine IS like “BFF’S” with him and he tells me THAT these fellas REALLY HAVE their act together and this bike WILL KICK ASS, IN “MX”, “SX”, “Enduro”, A N D………”off road” ! And if it’s as good as suspected I’m gonna get me one ! 🦊🏁🇺🇸
ОтветитьIf there are too few dealerships, then I'd pass.
August 22, 2023
Cannondale LOL
ОтветитьIt will probably take a couple of years to get everything right on the bike, but good luck Triumph.
