Its a feature, really its double flex head and also flex body for the really hard to reach guys.
ОтветитьWhole 💩 I can’t believe you broke that . I thought they were tough wrenches 😳
ОтветитьLove these videos
Ответитьsnap on is also 10 times the price
ОтветитьCould be handy if you needed to shape a wrench for a specific application🤣
ОтветитьGearwrench invented them in 1996. Calling them the knockoff seems weird to me, regardless of quality.
I call them gearwrenches, because they were the first lol
Don't agree with this one.
I have been using the Mountain wrenches for a long time and there is no way you are going to bend it like that in normal use unless you are trying to use it as a crow bar. Used the right way they are sized in a way that the fastener will snap off long before that wrench handle will bend and it will never bend like you did it there.
@NaptownTuner have you any Wright Tools Barberton Oh ?
Ответить“Someone like your mom” always kills me 😂😂
ОтветитьYes, Snap-On makes an awesome product all around. It’s not a question of quality or fitness, it’s a question of money.
ОтветитьI love mountain wrenches. One of the best purchases I ever made as a mechanic.
ОтветитьTo be fair brother, that's improper use 😂
ОтветитьLove the mom jokes
Ответитьthat crap bendy wrench might actually be useful - you could bend that into a super custom low-torque wrench ... if it's cheap
ОтветитьMan. This hurts. I love my mountain set.
ОтветитьPut your finger in the wrench-hole 😀
ОтветитьMy mountain wrenches have lasted years no issues if your not ignorant. Gearwrench is not a copy but the originator
ОтветитьGit yer finger outta that wrench hole, you're a big girl now!!!
ОтветитьYou have a good point Jaret with the Mountain wrenches, but I think they want the beam to flex or bend in order to "save" the ratchet or joint at the end. A bit of a safety feature to tell you "hey, buddy, get a fixed box wrench on here"!!
ОтветитьThen tell that same person the prices and ask which theyd buy, bet the answer changes to gear wrench pretty fast
ОтветитьI disagree with this one also, been a tech for 5 years now and love my mountain wrenches. Of course love my snap ons and bluepoints as well. The mountains were a gift and they see everyday use.
ОтветитьAt almost 200 for those mountain wrech set you'd think they'd not make them outta peanut brittle.
ОтветитьOne thing I know is that I have respect for good moms.
ОтветитьYou ever see a mechanic shop where the snap on truck is always parked out front? I have gear wrench tools and use them pretty rigorously as a plumber and I’ve never had to replace them or had them worked on in 10 years. But the snap on truck is always there fixing some tool rep replacing a Paul or doing whatever they do so don’t be fooled by that high cost junk.
ОтветитьI'd rather it bend than a sudden clean break like snap on wrenches are known for. I had a snap on wrench fail on me it broke in half suddenly with no warning and I wound up with a broken hand. At least if the wrench bends you have warning something is going to fail
ОтветитьMy mountains lasted about 10 yrs.
On my second set and going strong. They have made me lots of money.
