IF the "Right to IVF Act" only Made the Federal Act supersede State Laws AND Made legal the disposal of unused reproductive genetic material, it would pass a lot easier. ITS the parts about forcing the Government and Insurances to pay for IVF that is killing the bill. PLEASE START WITH the first 2 parts!!! Save the "who pays" for a different time.

Why won't the Democrats work with the Republicans to draft a compromise bill? It is solely to play politics. The Democrats put provisions in their bill that are not acceptable to the Republicans. The Republican bill creates federal law protecting IVF too, but does not throw in provisions that they know will not pass. If you believe the Republicans opposed IVF, you need to read the IVF Protection Act introduced by Senators Cruz and Britt. The Democrats prevented it from even coming to the floor for a vote. They must be opposed to IVF, right? Using the logic of some on here, that must be the case. The truth is everyone supports IVF. It is the provisions of the bill that are the issue. Don't be gullible and believe the spin pumped out by the liberal media.

It's not going to pass unless democratic party agrees on that bill about voting with correct identification
