ОтветитьPeople taking care of people.... this is the only way forward
ОтветитьAgree completely. 20 years ago when I started my professional career, I had to inform our COO that I made a mistake. I wanted to give him some background as to how I made the mistake. As I’m explaining to him how the mistake happened, why it happened… He sat there looking at me completely quiet, with no expression. Then I suddenly realized he really didn’t care how it happened. He just wanted to know that I made the mistake, that I learned from the mistake and that I was going to fix the mistake. Once I did that, he smiled and thanked me very kindly.

ОтветитьWorks for marriages too.
ОтветитьLike he says, “a little bit of empathy and a little bit of support goes a long way”.
ОтветитьAccountability should be applied to all not only to powerless. Powerful countries are always right, so does in politics and other aspects of human lives. Money and power talks. One of the greatest writer wrote in the eye of powerful powerless is always at fault. If we are talking about accountability and justice it should be for all not only people who have no voice or power.
ОтветитьBeing transparent is a skill all leaders must have.
ОтветитьHonesty always a great Value for a person...
ОтветитьIt’s interesting that resisting the urge to get mad at people when they screw up makes them more willing to take accountability. Conversely, no one will take accountability if they think they will be blamed for doing so.
ОтветитьMy toxic boss always yells and screams at us when we give her bad news. So we stopped giving her bad news. And now she wonders why she's always kept in the dark on things. There's a lot of people that don't want to take accountability where I work. I don't think it's a mystery why.
ОтветитьMr Simon is Mr dunning Kruger effect honestly speaking
