In the 80’s we would saw the stick above the blade, where the fiberglass ended on the shaft, near the decorative tape (think Sher Wood).

When the player would lean on his stick, usually during warmup, the stick would break and he would fall on his face.

Sticks are too expensive now!!! Enjoyed these!!! Keep em coming eh!!!

Best I ever seen… some dick snuck back to the dressing room and switched everyone’s retainers around. Since I didn’t have any and no one could accuse me of leaving the net…😂 we all took as a prank. Never found out who, but ya always have your suspicions.
