if you put a hydraulic ack underneath the rear arm you can just remove the bolt that goes into the lower arm at the subframe and let the arm swing down, the spring will come out easy enough
ОтветитьJason is W
Ответитьgood luck bro <3 , i think i m the only fan from north Africa
ОтветитьUnfortunately the lack of maintenance bit you... hopefully you can repair everything needed before roadtrip.
Pro tip: road tripping long distances on untested old car, I would advise you to bring some spares and basic toolkit in the trunk, you never know what might happen
You are doing great man. Thanks for making these for us! ❤
ОтветитьYou’re not building anything. Why don’t you do the work yourself 😂😂😂
ОтветитьEthan is hilarious, I love his humor! 😂
ОтветитьNice work , Greetings to you from Morocco ❤🎉
Ответитьcan you see if you can do a colab with @AR12Gaming
ОтветитьCan you make the subtitle on you're vd's , it's hard to understand all what's happening when English not your 1st lang ❤
ОтветитьWhat happened ??????
Let’s guess , the rear shock give out possibly 🤔
Jason is a legend. I'd definitely trust him work on my car.
Ответитьplease fix that right rear brake hose its twisted all the way around
ОтветитьWell if you’re unskilled, peeling the tape off is definitely a good start. That’s how you learn and get the skills.
If you’re going to drive old shit boxes like this you will have to learn. Your argument that if you built it yourself it would take sooo long is a bit off. You have the professionals around you, ask them if there is simple stuff you can do and learn.
You installed the rear shocks wrong. One bushing is supposed to be under the mounting point and the other over in the trunk. That's why it was hard to get the nut on there
ОтветитьYou've got both of your rear shock top bushings under the body mount, you should have one below and one on top. It's either gone to knock and bang like shit or the shockers will drop out
ОтветитьLFG!
ОтветитьJason gona have a PAY day
ОтветитьThis is the definition of building a car for a client and the client constantly interupting your work and randomly showing up lol. Nice build Jason.
Ответить👆
Can you guys sub pls
Dude your rear shocks are in wrong, it should be bottom to top - shock, cup washer, rubber bush, car ( not sure, but looks like you have two rubber bushes between shock and car in the wheel tub)
ОтветитьWhen you swap wheels you may need to shorten the rear bolts, if not you can destroy the handbrake spring
ОтветитьThe only one that knows what’s he doing is the body guy !
ОтветитьWhy rush the build to go to a car show 😭
ОтветитьCRACK IN THE BACK🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьWheel offset to high? Maybe needing some wheel spacers.
Ответить🙌
Ответитьoh mate, thats a lot for what you got... some of mistakes i made myself like rusty car but im around 14k$ with mine 190 but im making engine swap for m111 2.3 with turbo. i stripped mine to bare metal and painted. keep it up !
ОтветитьWhats the wheels or rims are called??? Whats the Brand???
ОтветитьReplacing the rear springs can be done in like 10 minutes per side 😂 jack up right under the spring so it's compressed, remove the bolts holding in the arm and let the jack decompress the spring. And do the opposite to install the new one. The rear springs don't really have much pressure on them.
ОтветитьWhen will you guys hit Vancouver??
ОтветитьThis guy sucks
ОтветитьThat sound in the end of the video, from the back wheel sounds just like something I have tried more than once with these old Mercs.
Specially when fitting other size wheels...
Too long wheel bolts sticks too far in and hit the handbrake-drum-assembly. If too bad, you need new springs and pads.
If Im right theres an easy fix. Just remove the pads and springs for this one ride, and then dont touch the handbrake, while its missing.
"we" = Jason
ОтветитьNice build 😊👍🏻 The fake central bolts on the rims looks ridiculously small though. What engine and gearbox is going in? I hope you are not keeping that stock engine? It would be like so cringe 😊
ОтветитьThat noise at the rear end is probably coming from lug bolts that are too long and are interfering with the e-brake assembly. It's definitely worth converting to studs.
ОтветитьNo matter what you did.... As long as we can see the process of converting a normal 190e into an Evo.... I think it's a WIN for everyone...... Those whiners can shove it up the rear end😂😂😂😂😂 happy to see the car coming into fruition..... Keep up the good teamwork..... This is inspirational..... Thank you
ОтветитьYou really shouldn’t mess with cars suspension until you fully understand what you’re doing
ОтветитьAbsolutely love this project💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
ОтветитьBe carefull with your nails dude
ОтветитьThank you for choosing
The correct wheels 👍
and in white wow
Bought not built.
ОтветитьAt least you could have done the shocks and springs without another guy doing it for you
ОтветитьI've got Sportline front seats!!
ОтветитьHi I am also building my own evo 2 conversion, and have watch your evo 2 build 10 times trying to figure out some clues about where you got the rims and its center hub... but cannot find out anything online, would you mind directly telling that info? Thanks ahead!
Ответитьwhat did you do with the hole in the back of front fender? stad wheel arch cover fit?
ОтветитьBuilding/repairing the car is very hard and technical, who would've though right??????????????
Everyone likes to drive a car that just works, this is quite literally a "bought, not build" build series!
