I had not heard of Darwins worm work ... thank you!!!
ОтветитьIt's fascinating that Darwin was never expected to do anything great and that nobody was anticipating him creating something so incredible.
ОтветитьEver get caught bioturbating?
Ответить“40 years with worms on the brain.”
RFK: Hold my beer.
I love the enthusiasm you bring to each of these videos!
ОтветитьSteve is an acronym? Is he a rare atmospheric phenomenon?
ОтветитьI’m so glad she not traveling through time no more. I hosted so many proverbial funerals for her.
Ответить"If there's one thing you should probably know about the kind of guy that Darwin was, it's that, at heart, he was simply a relentlessly curious nerd."
Imagine going to a bar and Darwin starts talking about worms. I'd order two more pints for us just for starters. My wife hated the other day when I made a friend at a party that wouldn't stop talking about stingless Brazilian bees. I just love people that are passionate about really specific topics hahaha
Nobody ever wants to hear about MY humble worm itch:/
Ответить😂old man clear his main quest, done his side quest. Then log out and move on. Done...
ОтветитьIsn't it obvious that the Cambrian explosion happened because brains evolved? A proper animal needs a brain to manage its body and behavior.
ОтветитьDarwin🤝RFK: Worms on the brain
ОтветитьIn university I had a professor who would gift a first edition copy of this book to every successful PhD candidate he had through his career.
One of the best professors ever. And truly just cared about his legacy as an educator.
Farmers used to find worms very inportant
ОтветитьAmazing
ОтветитьLISAN AL GAIB
ОтветитьCambrian is my favorite time period
Ответитьfascinating video. I just wish I hadn't chose to watch it while eating vermicelli.
ОтветитьNico Robin lmfao.
ОтветитьCan you talk about the color of early mammals?
ОтветитьThis makes me wish we can build a time machine and bring ol' Charles to our time for a visit. I wish we can show him all the fossils we've found since his time and all the work we've done building on his. Could we see his eyes glitter once more? 🥺
Ответитьworm darwin and his little worm book :3
ОтветитьI've always loved the fact that he was so captivated by earthworms & rightly so, the fact that they started churning up the microbial mats (that fed all animals until then) of the ediacaran was truly game changing
ОтветитьDarwin was truly an amazing man and as much as I wish he could have experienced modern day scientific discoveries, I think he lived during a time when he was most needed.
Ответитьyou're all amazing Steve
ОтветитьTheres still so much joy to watching an eons video as one of the few I have time for when I have to wake up early, my brain knows what it wants when my time onlin is precious
ОтветитьI have hated a barnacle and also a worm too like a man never has before
ОтветитьIf worms broke up the sea floor and killed Ediacaran animals, does that mean there is a mass extinction between the Ediacaran and Cambrian?
ОтветитьMaybe I'm just parasocial, but feel like ending up in Westminister Abbey is probably the worst way to be buried, for him. Charley-D was so self concious, and had such a reverance for nature, I can't help but imagine he wanted to eaten and NOT uneaten, next to Sir. Issac Newton forever. Still screaming in the afterlife, tough luck Chuck.
ОтветитьOld man yells at worms
Ответить<3
ОтветитьWorms make me very happy, when I see a bunch of healthy worms in my garden I know that all is well. I'm with Darwin, curious nerds ftw.
ОтветитьYou cannot stop evolution, as everyday species evlove to survive and thrive.
ОтветитьCreepy and crawly but great show
ОтветитьDarwin just had ADHD and a sense of the tism
ОтветитьHoly moly. Canada sounds totally fudged.
ОтветитьCharles Darwin and Abraham Lincoln born the same day!
ОтветитьI feel moderately sad that Darwin didn't get to join his worms...
ОтветитьIs it Worm Week already?
ОтветитьI think you should see a doctor if you have a worm itch.
Ответить😊great vid!
