I heard this as a very little girl when it first came out… Listened to it on repeat after my best friend, my cat zoomer, passed away unexpectedly.

Fast-forward 30 years. My (twin) brother passed away, again very unexpectedly, in 2022. On our birthday. Today marks the first day that I have listened to this in so many years, but it’s been in my head for days and days. I spend most of nap time coaxing my daughter to sleep with various Christmas songs, most of them making me cry, but luckily, her eyes are closed.
