Catch the wind was great even when the high e string snapped at the end
Ответитьoh the days when young people liked real music and listened
ОтветитьWarmly remembered at the breaks youth club Hatfield.
ОтветитьSimply musically brilliant ❤
ОтветитьDon sounds so good on Donna Donna & Little Tin Soldier
ОтветитьBlew my little mind
ОтветитьThanks for giving me Donovan again
ОтветитьI was just a kid that got turned on...
Ответитьyep.
ОтветитьNice 💇 the curls, are captivating ✈
ОтветитьGlorious ❤
Ответитьwhats the title of song played on the irish buzooki mandolan
ОтветитьThis was folk music. Remember?
Ответить😢 One of my brothers favourite singers !!!!! and mine too !!!!! So unique ... Good health to him !!!! James O Connor. and I am from Ireland.
ОтветитьWonderful spirit, wonderful voice and songs. Memories. Memories. Memories! ❤
ОтветитьThank you for this. I haven't heard Donovan's voice in far too long.
ОтветитьCatch the wind, what a wonderful song. I was about 14 & had an early album of his. What a gentle soul. Loved him. 😊
ОтветитьI was there at age eleven with my elder sister. Great day, and happy times. Picked up the guitar then....; Thanks for the upload.
ОтветитьHe's definately One of the underrated singers for sure. But there definitely alot more.Especially nowadays, when you cant hear them much!(and certainly not on the ( so-called radio stations) Theyve sold out to the highest bidder for air time. Its no longer the best performers or who had the most record sales....Now they only play garbage( hip hop& rap crap) by non-performers!!!!😡
ОтветитьHe is just absolutely 'BEAUTIFUL'!!!! Period, inside & out!!!!
Ответитьgood old times, love Donovan, thanks for the music
ОтветитьSuch a beautiful voice, such great songwriting. One of the most unique vibratos of all time. And all those wire-rimmed glasses in the audience! Wore them myself in those years. Try and Catch the Wind is my all-time favorite. And Madrigalinda is exquisite.
ОтветитьCan't these ads at least play AFTER the freaking song?!
ОтветитьNot so rare anymore! Thank you.
ОтветитьTimeless talent! Wish kids today could hear and appreciate real, true talent!
ОтветитьPretty rowdy crowd for a folk festival
ОтветитьMost underrated singer songwriter of his generation. Way ahead of of his time.
ОтветитьI have never seen this. So surreal and a classic concert. I couldn't imagine being there. I always have loved Donovan but never knew just how good and talented he was. Awesome!
ОтветитьCan any music like this get on today's radio? Have we fallen this far from freedom?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing! I saw Donovan live for the first time recently.
ОтветитьWhere is that guitar today?
ОтветитьDonovan one of the forgotten greats
RIP Gordon Lightfoot another one of the forgotten greats.
Love it
ОтветитьA little gem for sure. Thanks for posting!
ОтветитьI was there together with my son. 💖💖
ОтветитьWish to see him performing on stage again. So lovely singer with his lovely songs.
ОтветитьMellow Yellow and Jennifer Juniper, just a few that made it across the pond and to MINIONS. !!!!!!!!❤
ОтветитьEuropean folk singer and great artist.
ОтветитьI agree
ОтветитьLove this guy and his music very much, "Josie" is one of my all time favourite songs of his too. for anyone who is interested Donovan is using a Shure 869 vocal condenser microphone
ОтветитьBeat the crap out of the Russians
ОтветитьI know these are all fans to see Donovan at this concert but they ars kind of
rowdy and boisterous. I have seen Donovan many times over the years in different venues but audiences were not loud or shouting out requests.
More polite then this audience I'd have to say. Concerts were all in USA that I attended and not in Vienna.
This was when "TRUE" artist wrote and everyone truly enjoyed the honest to heart songs played!!!
ОтветитьHe was a global superstar who sold out in hours every concert he ever performed. I saw Donovan in concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City in the 1980s. He was on the bill with Loudon Wainwright III.
ОтветитьCan't stand politically motivated people in show business especially millionaire champagne socialist's Lenin was another one!..
ОтветитьClass, legend!!
