Is the Metro Atlanta Housing Market Doomed in 2025?

Powell made an interesting comment during the conference. He made an analogy of Navigating through a dark room with furniture in it. I think the fed is not as confident about inflation as they once were so they are going to pause for awhile. Meanwhile the markets don't believe the message the fed is sending and believe that inflation will continue to increase as the new administration comes into office. Given that speculation, bond holders are asking for more premium for govt debt. Put all of that together and that increase premium impacts mortgage rates and will keep them elevated for quite some time. Macroeconomics look great but for the average American the pain continues.
