🤔 I don't have that emoji as an option. Very informative video. Saw on my self, just how much a professional dye job, could fudge them up. Now I know, never to go the route of permanent makeup on my eyebrows.

i overplucked my brows as a teen and over 5 years later i thought "well that's it. i don't have brows here anymore". and my brows looked patchy on top of that. idk what strike me, but i just dyed my brows. and behold. turned out i have THICK eyebrows. half if it just BLONDE for some reason. you just gotta dye your brows your natural color at least once before considering other options. you never know 🫣

I had skin cancer and had a portion of my eyebrow removed. After years of healing i had a combo micro powder done and the artist did an amazing job at creating an eyebrow that wasnt there to match my other brow. They arent perfect matches but she was honest about it and ive had them 3 years and its changed my life. As a cosmetic reconstructive tool its amazing if done right!

In regards to the flawless, Megan, crystal situation, it sounds to me like Megan saw an opportunity to get her sister a client and it’s likely her sister was either still in school or wasn’t certified in doing brows. This is far more common than most would think. A friend of mine in high school suffered with cancer and lost all her hair, including her lashes. At the time it was super popular to get tattooed eyeliner and so she thought getting that done would make her feel better about herself. She had been referred to a family friends friend and was promised up and down that the girl was incredible at what she did and that my friend wouldn’t be disappointed. The day of her appointment, she went in and was persuaded into not only getting her eyeliner tattooed but also her eyebrows. When I tell you this poor girl SUFFERED for hours getting this work done and at the end, she was horrified. The eyeliner was so thick and uneven it looked like she had been punched in both eyes. The eyebrows were even worse. They were literally blocks, one solid color and had no gradient texture. She cried for weeks and refused to attend school unless they were fixed.
I felt so awful for her. I still do 😢

The “saline method”: digging out the pigment via deliberate tissue destruction.
It works, obviously. The old dermatologist methods of “salabrasion” (saline paste sanding of the skin), “dermabrasion” (another ‘grinding’ method), and of course “dermaplaning” (carving off the top layers of the skin with an actual surgical plane).

Eyebrows change so much with time — the loss of skin tone and elasticity — and with fashion trends. Permanent eyebrow tattoos hardly ever last the test of time, even if they save minutes of makeup and “Get Readiness.”

Lastly, there are too many “artists” setting up shop/making the rounds at parties who clearly have no interest in creating ART.

Make good decisions!!
Stop patronizing scratchers!!

ps: If you botch someone, not only waive the fee, but make it right! Pay for the saline removal process, or the laser removal procedure, or whatever the aggrieved client desires! Be a professional. Take pride in performing good work which is worth glowing word of mouth advertising. If you’re incompetent or uncaring, kindly QUIT this “line” of work!

Had my brows microbladed 5,5 years ago. It was supposed to last for 2-3 years. Yet here we are and my right brow is still having a horrible brown shade right under it. Like the ink bled and spread throughout the years. I have to cover it with corrector

Very informative. I got mine done, not sure if it was powder or nano (deffo using a machine) maybe 7-8 years, but still have the shape but in a weird faded salmon pink kinda colour. It's not crazy noticeable, but I really wanted to change my brow shape by shaving the tail and redrawing in a place I now prefer, but can't because the old pigment still shows. I'd deffo say don't do it, just for that reason alone and brow trends change, or you might want to change the placement slightly but cant

I am not one for cosmetic procedures in general-but I’ve considered this as someone who struggles with trich. I have to basically “put on my brows” and I’m constantly worried about them rubbing off randomly-etc.

I’m not looking for perfection-and I would def do the lightest, thinnest, most natural looking ones I could. I’m not deluded enough to think I can have big full brows. Just want a base for my makeup essentially so if my face does randomly get rubbed I’m not stuck rocking half an eyebrow until I can get to my caboodles.

You cannot give reference photos for brows, since the other person's great brows might look terrible on your face.

Don't do it. Just fill them in with makeup.

🤭 🙈 Apologies, I cannot find the 'peeping through fingers with hands over eyes' emoji that you said to put in a comment. 'Hand over mouth' and a 'monkey covering its eyes' is the closest I could find.
Just found you today, I've watched a few of your videos and subscribed. I'm an old genderfluid person who - now I have reached official retirement age in my country (England) - I feel like coming out a bit more and I was thinking of an arm tattoo; I've never had a tattoo in my life, 66yrs, so I'm trying to find out everything about tattoos.
I live in the countryside in a very rural area, not many people, however I was surprised to find out the nearest small town about 5 miles away has lots of tattoo studios, I was expecting one but there really is quite a lot.
I'm very impressed by your knowledge on this subject, I think I have to be a little careful as my skin damages easily due to age and bruises or even insect bites tend to leave a permanent mark, I fell down the half spiral staircase in my ancient cottage about 4yrs ago (pre pandemic), and I still have the marks on my legs, arms and probably other places I just cannot see as well!
Stay safe and stay fabulous folks!

So where to start….. here’s the thing, As a professional -How did it magically happen that Flawless was ( clueless) that such an invasive procedure should Never Happen without 1) a Thorough Consultation? 2) At a controlled Clean Professional Location?? Meaning this Supposed Brow Artist has No Legit. Business ?? Come On! See this is what happens when you want Cheap people! Then at the Actual Appointment the Actual brow Artist does this thing called “ Mapping”, where we draw the shape we’re then going to fill In! It has to be approved by the client then and there, or adjustments are made then and there. First and foremost , you don’t do permanent makeup on everyone! Why? First there’s a laundry list true professionals are trained in the Required Consultation— to go through of all kinds of medical conditions. Only when that is clear, do you go into ( psychological factors ), meaning unrealistic expectations, extremes in appearance etc., that are RedFlags. Finally , if you aren’t smart enough to sacrifice a professional doing your permanent makeup and all that needs to happen , and paying for a professional , well you just might get what you pay for! You have to be smarter than risking your face! Plus-If you are too money hungry and foolish to take risks ( it makes me nauseous to think of how many were involved here, to do permanent makeup in a non controlled sterile atmosphere — and to be properly trained and follow basic professional protocol, coz you have Prey that wants things cheap no matter the risk?? Dear God Common Sense is not even present here— between either party.👎🙄

You said "her" so obviously its not a pronoun issue. It sounded like Frankenstein talk. "Flawless dont like eyebrows", "Flawless mad at artist". We get it!!!!! Her name is Flawless, good grief.

I have never seen fake eyebrows, botox or lips down that didn't look stupid and much worse than before.
Women look best 10 seconds after they wake, no make up hair everywhere and especially wearing yout tshirt or boxers...... amazing honestly ladies, it's summer, drop the makeup and fling on a sundress, men will drool.
Women don't realise how amazing freckles and pale skin looks, you have been fooled.
The most beautiful women I ever seen was a red head with lots of freckles even on her lips, im a bit of Chad and Women are basically toys for me, but I was too scared to even speak to this girl... hopefully we meet again so I can be the opposite of my usual self and treat her like the princess she is....

There was a lady who worked in my office building 25 years ago. She had giant eyebrows that had been tattooed on and it was obvious that there was spread. People would laugh at this lady behind her back and it was terrible. I felt bad for her as the eyebrows looked terrible, and often wonder if she got her brows removed. Picking a good artist is important and is worth the time spent researching one.🤗

ppl should also know that laser can really damage the hair follicles so if you’re already self conscious about lack of hair in that area, you should research and get a thorough consultation before you go that route.
