You know honestly Im not surprised people thought you could fall off the "edge" of the world. When you're at the crest of a rogue wave. You look down and think. SHIT I'm about to fall down there.

Most of the time oceans are calm, people who traversed in wooden boats will stay out of the ocean in winter season where the waters & winds will be rough.

But its another story if they are getting hit by an unprecedented cyclone..

It's a big wave, but definitely not 30m high.
