Beginner????
Ответитьgreat demo
ОтветитьAwesome quality of video and sound, love how your able to show different angles with the drone, thanks for sharing this technique and taking us along for the climb,
Ответить4 year's of climbing and I've still not accessed a tree by foot locking. I need to give it a try. I even purchased an A.R.T. Snake tail and prusick loop for the occasion. Still not used my ring to ring "Secret Weapon" prusick cord. Confident of doing it but I should train my body to move that way. Excellent example you've shared with us here. Brilliant footage, Thanks for doing that mate😁
ОтветитьWhat’s the primary benefit to using the foot lock technique over a foot ascender? My foot ascender makes it easy to climb a rope.
ОтветитьReally nice work sir and big like like 👍👍👍
ОтветитьVery instructive video. Thanks for sharing it.
Should you need to descend in the middle of the foot-locking climb, how would you
install the figure 8 to descend?
Excellent video! Your badass climbing skills are exceeded only by your badass accent!

ОтветитьAwesome vid… don’t climb trees but extremely interesting. The alpine butterfly seems useful. Headed down that wormhole next😳
ОтветитьLike this, it's wanting and tired.
ОтветитьOkay, so, I stumbled onto your video somehow. I'm a bass fisherman. That was amazing, you had me totally confused. I never realized that climbing could be so technical.
ОтветитьI've only climbed DRT so far and of course have done foot locking. Also I looking to start SRT in the near future. This here though is almost its own style of climbing, I've never seen it done like this before! Really cool informative video I'll have to try it out sometime. Big fan of Reecoil!
ОтветитьStill abit confused why you can’t just foot lock without that foot locking line ? I footlock drt and It definitely saves me having to use that extra rope ypur using
ОтветитьThank you so much don’t let it As snow the technic😊
ОтветитьConfusing😅😮 why not a footlocking prusik for each foot?
ОтветитьWouldn't it have been easier to remove and lower the second climbing system you brought up and tied into your foot locking prusik the same way you brought it up, while you were in the tree then rappel down the original 2 ropes with a figure 8 or some other descender?
ОтветитьWow. Pretty sure you’ve done that a time or two. Subscribed!
ОтветитьI watched 4 videos before yours and you nailed it thanks
ОтветитьNot realistic. Where are your heavy tools? What is the rope hitched to at the top? P.S. Great system.
Ответитьdidn't get a F#$%^&*( thing from this !!
ОтветитьSo the system we use at work is a hitch climber system eye to eye. DRT. And I have a job I have to do that has a tie point just like that floating on a cottonwood. But I'm pretty sure we aren't allowed to use footlock and no extra mechanical means. 😢
I mean, it seems doable but it also seems like it's going to be one heck of a mission body thrusting up 60ft floating.
I could watch this 100X and still learn absolutely nothing.
ОтветитьThis changes Everything!
ОтветитьLove your video. Excellent bro.
ОтветитьHowdy, I'm an old school climber; 62 that has done pretty much everything including crane work. This is about the best video I've seen on secured footlocking. Good for you showing climbing without the crutch of ascenders.
ОтветитьClever. I'll have to practice that
ОтветитьVery well done video. I’m missing the reason you do a static line and foot lock and then pull up the double rope system. Why not install the double rope from the get go? I know there must be a reason but I need enlightenment. Thanks.
Ответитьactually interesting content, but I hate the music-furting on us.
If I wonna listen to music, I turn the radio on or something else.
very inpolite this music shit while speaking! 😢
So do I need two ropes?
ОтветитьEXCELLENT technique, thank you...
ОтветитьMakes me want to try it but wouldn't know where to get the eyed rope with loop tried looking for it only small to small eye prusik rope anyone know a link to it please
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your expertise!
ОтветитьThank you for the tips 🤝
ОтветитьWhat you did was great, but I have to see it many times before fully understand it.
ОтветитьForgive me, but where you in the army?
ОтветитьI'd love to get into tree climbing. Loved climbing trees when I was a small kid. Great to know this system, I'll definitely need to watch a few more times to get it down.
