ОтветитьI remember during Pol Pot time and they seperate kids from their parents and boys from girls. Anyway we were coming back from a meeting one night. We walked through this old plantation where town people said all of the family members and people used to live in that plantation were all murdered by Pol Pot soldiers. Anyway a bunch of us small boys walking thru and near the this big tree...you can hear some lady voice was singing like this in the middle of the night...we were haunted.
ОтветитьWe were haunted by the ghosts of the lady who were murdered by the Pol Pot Soldiers. Town people said that she was about 8 month pregnant too. That big Buddah tree was in the backyard but no more house because they burned their house too. They used to be a well off family....but I remembered we ran like hell. But I don't know why back than they always have meeting at night time.
Ответитьbeautiful song,makes me sad makes me happy. I don't understand,but I feel .
ОтветитьMy mom used to sing this to me and I sang this to my children. Miss you so much mom, I wish you could sing this to your beautiful grand children. Khmer Rouge I hope you rotten in hell millions and millions of years for every human being you tortured and killed.
ОтветитьThis song automatically makes me cry!
Ответитьpol pot is just fucked up.....if we could sustain a strong khmer king back in the day like jayavarman we would still be a big civilization but as long our temples are okay im okay
ОтветитьMy mother used to sing this song to me when she wants me to sleep, this song probably about 1,000 years old.
ОтветитьThis song makes me long for a time that I never experienced. Maybe I heard this in a past life.
