The Elamites were neither Semitic or Aryan. They had a laguage isolate which was not related to any language family. They were a great nation long before the Iranians reached the area. Also, they devoped written language, trade, and commerce, and city statehood right along side the first cities of Sumeria.... Thier genealogy and language is still somewhat of a enigma....
