Amazing!
ОтветитьI have a son who is a swimming competitor, he´s 14, I find these lives very interesting, especially the importance given to mental work. Thanks for sharing, Brett
ОтветитьThe missile! My son, now 16, dreamed of being the missile every time he jumped in the pool. In fact at 6 he was called mini missile hahahaha !
ОтветитьSo good. Tough 2012 loss
ОтветитьGreat discussion. Shame he couldn’t stick around for long enough for ISL.
ОтветитьGreat interview, we learn a lot from those former elite swimmers experiences, thank you
ОтветитьIs Nathan Adrian a worthy champion? Maybe I'm biased because I'm from the USA but this question was a little weird. James handled it well.
ОтветитьEasy speed! Love it. Quality over quantity! Swim smart to swim fast!
ОтветитьQuestion to Coach Hawke: Are these kind of sets done throughout a macrocycle preparing for a main race, or would one start off with 6-8 weeks of general preparation, and then more specific preparation of the kind Magnussen talks about? Thanks
ОтветитьI thought I’d watch for a few minutes and I’m still here 85 minutes later. Great stuff from start to finish from two very intelligent and articulate guys who happen to be among the greats in the sport. Thankful for this medium and your willingness to take advantage of it and share your experiences and wisdom. Cheers, mates!
ОтветитьWhen's Cesar Cielo and/or Fratus coming for an interview ?
ОтветитьI just watched the full one for the 2nd time, a lot to learn from James experience, thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWould love to meet these blokes! Sound like ripper blokes!
ОтветитьMaggie is the best swim podcast guest ever. This podcast and the two he did with SwimSwam are absolute gold mines. He is not shy about talking sets and training. And he is super specific and articulate. Gotta love this guy.
ОтветитьI've watched all your pods. Loved this one and Bob Bowman's particularly. Thank you. James did so well on SAS Celebrity WDW too. He is definitely made of the right stuff.
ОтветитьREST! I was sleeping 6 hours a night through adolescence. Used to get scolded when I missed a morning. As if that was ever going to work.
ОтветитьBrett, I remember you starting to focus on the 50 in '93. Is that right? I noticed it at a grand prix meet at Maroubra and wondered why you were doing what no one else was.
ОтветитьAustralia have had a rich history in the 100m mens free in recent Olympic games.
2004 - Thorpe bronze
2008 - Sullivan silver
2012 - Magnussen silver
2016 - Chalmers gold
2020 - Chalmers silver
Something we should be proud of in the blue riband event
Great interview guys, thanks a lot, and great insight on how to train for speed. It seems the polarized approach works, if the greats do it
ОтветитьWho loves him
