I do have a question for you good sir.
First of all I’m really glad I found your channel, I’ve been struggling to find extremely detailed versions of repairs.
I had an ac compressor go bad in my 2011 Toyota Camry. So I had bought a new one and had a friends father help me as I didn’t have manifold gauges and other tools as well as the garage to perform this. Anyhow, my condenser was damaged in shipping and the fellow convinced me to just leave the old one, I wanted to replace it and am unsure if he actually evacuated the system for a good forty five minutes, I was always concerned that the old condenser needed to be replaced and that it may cause issues.
Unfortunately a year and half later, and my new compressor is making the SAME sounds. Grinding bearings perhaps. The ac clutch, when the car is on, is ALWAYS spinning.
I really just want to perform this repair myself and actually get it right , it’s costly and inconvenient to be without my vehicle.
Thank you for all your time and help, you really inspire me to go for my dream to become a mechanic.
