Thank you for this, Dr. Inna. Knowledge is forever changing, that’s why we need to adapt at all times. I am scared to accept new things because I was scared of believing something that is unfamiliar and the tiny thought in the back of my head refuses to rid of something I’ve held onto my whole life learning about. I definitely needed this. ❤

Professor Inna is amazing, I'm studying psychology in Spain and I wish I could take any of her classes on any topic in psychology, I just love how she explains everything!! 😫

This lady doctor should have been on the news every day of the pandemic explaining the BS ideas that came from Dunning Kruger effect, Confirmation, Optimism, Selective Perception bias etc. As a doctor and PhD student in the neuroscience field, it is refreshing seeing someone who has the patience to debunk BS ideas and claims. I gave up a long time ago and I am still a junior doctor. So frustrating

I like your point about how we as humans tend to stick with our original belief as opposed to a belief that is incompatible with that. Growing up, the first thing my parents taught me was to not hate people based on things they can't control. I took that belief to heart. As a result, every time my parents challenged that belief by telling me to hate someone based on something they can't control, I automatically cast that belief aside, as it was incompatible with the first thing they taught me. Somehow, they never realized themselves that their two beliefs are incompatible.
