Glad you guys like China like we do. You guys are so funny and your videos are a joy to watch. Go to Chaozhou for everything beef and Shantou for the hot pot with the freshest beef ever. Both cities are in Guangdong province.
ОтветитьHave a good time.
ОтветитьHot pot is really an art…..you guys need to try it again when a local can take you and show you the ropes
Ответить🔥🌿👍🏾👍
ОтветитьIt is hot pot, eats it any way you like.
ОтветитьMy God, that's not how you eat hot pot.
Hot pot is for socializing with friends and family, you should cook as you eat ,don't cook everything all at once, and noodles last and no peanuts on noodles lol.
You should Dip the meat and veggies in your own made sauce (endless combinations) for flavors, not as a mixing sauce on noodles lol
They fucked up their hotpot. They are like teenagers, need a lot of guidance and instruction.
ОтветитьYou left the beef in the pot much too long😂
Ответитьwelcome back to China
Ответить我很早以前就总结过,中国自助火锅的免费小料区是韩国的国宴标准!
ОтветитьFound you guys changed a lot from the 1st China tour video. When you were in Beijing several months ago,you were still acting cautiously, maybe cause unsure about China experience. But now, both of you even walk lively(that kids bounce style, you know),it looks so good!In spite of not giving comments to your video,I watched all of them and gave my thumb,no doubt.😅
Ответить看不下去了。找个当地人教你们吃火锅吧。 omg。像在披萨上放可乐。
ОтветитьNext time you need to try spicy hotpot, the chain Haidilao has restaurants in most cities and is pretty good. Also if you like it they have a branch in London
Ответитьhow come there is no peanut butter in dipping sauce?
ОтветитьThe beauty of hot pot is you do it however you like. No right or wrong.
ОтветитьI know you guys are in love with China from your first trip to Beijing and China contents usually have more views. But travelling in China for the next 3 months sounds a bit overwhelming. You may gradually get bored of it especially without speaking the language. Why not consider delayed gratification and do shorter trips but come back every year?
Ответитьnoodle is for the last and only if u r still not filled after the main food cos u don't want to waste your stomach on cheap stuff.
Ответить😂❤🎉😂❤🎉
ОтветитьI still remember the scenario you faced when you first arrived in Beijing, now you are much more relaxed and lively. Enjoy your China trip. I saw your friends, Mixue Couple 1, have a deeper experience in Lijiang, Yunnan. Go, Mixue Couple 2! 😃💗
Ответить不要害羞寻求店员帮助,用好手机翻译,他们会很乐于帮助你。Don't be shy to ask a shop assistant for help, use your mobile phone to translate and they'll be happy to help you!
ОтветитьThe noodles are cooked and eaten at the end, hahahaha
ОтветитьHi Reanne and Ben, just thought of sharing some tips for the dipping sauce for hotpot here in case you find it helpful.
Normally, you start with building the base before adding other sauce ingredients to create a more complex flavor profile.
Firstly, start with about 1.5 - 2 tablespoon of soya sauce, 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, add in minced raw garlic , chopped spring onion and cilantro subject to how much you like to add and that's the so call base.
Next, if you like to balance a bit of nutty and sweet flavor touches, you can consider add a teaspoon or 2 of sesame sauce and peanut butter sauce. Add a little of chopped chillies if you wanted an extra kick to it.
Of course, if you have try this out my suggestion and wanted to be more adventurous, you may always experiment with other flavor toppings on the counter to try things out.
Lastly, we normally eat meat and seafood first so that the broth become richer which is good to add in the veggies, soya products such as tofu and dried tofu skin. Lastly goes in the noddle as by now the broth would have a strong flavor profile and your noodles will taste extra nicer.
Wishing you the next escalated experience with Chinese Hotspot in China. 😊
The thing is, you guys went to a Chaoshan Beef hot pot where the Chinese usually go there just for the beef, you should really try more different types of beef there(I think usually over10 types of beef)
ОтветитьI would highly recommend Nanjing Tulou which is only 2 hours drive from Xiamen (Google it, and you'll be amazed)
Ответить好喜歡你們倆位!❤❤❤❤💕😘🍻👍👋😀
ОтветитьYou should have put noodle later than finishing meat , meat could be eaten just in few seconds in the boiling soup.😊
Ответить你们需要一个当地的导游。会让你们更全面的了解中国的文华和饮食
ОтветитьYou shouldn't put noodles in hot pot.😅
ОтветитьYou should definitely try the locally famous "Yadan Mango" (鸭蛋芒) on Xiamen Island. Named after its resemblance to a duck egg, this mango is not only unique to Xiamen but also boasts an incredibly rich and sweet flavor. Its texture is smooth, and it has a distinct aroma that sets it apart from other mango varieties. Many consider it far superior to mangos from other countries due to its exceptional taste and the perfect balance of sweetness and juiciness. It's truly a must-try delicacy that reflects the tropical charm of Xiamen!
ОтветитьIf you like hotpot. Go to Beijing for the traditional lamb hotpot with sesame sauce during winter. Or go to chengdu/chongqing for the spicy hotpot with garlic & sesame oil. Or go to guangdong to enjoy the traditional fresh beef style hotpot(the version you eat today). 😊 the sichuan one has the most flavor and the Beijing one is the warmest one and the guangdong one is the most fresh one
ОтветитьThx
Ответить❤❤❤
u really need someone who knows how to eat the best food in China.😅
Glad to see You enjoy the food and hot pot😊
ОтветитьI just ate the Chaoshan beef hotpot one week ago (the same hotpot as you), it's very light, not spicy at all. you need order lots of beef ball and beef. otherwise the soap is like water. the hand-made beef ball is the key of the Chaoshan hotpot.
ОтветитьThere are different styles of hotpot in China, and the one you picked is Chaoshan hotpot, which is know for its bland soup broth and very fresh beef.Different part of a cattle would taste differently and they would serve all kinds of beef, also handmade beef meatballs. The soup is bland because the main focus is to taste the freshness of the beef. You would also need to get condiments mixtures(dipping sauces) of your own choice and dip the food inside it in between cooking and eating it. Other styles of hotpot like Suchuan/Chongqing or Beijing style hotpot is a lot different tho.
ОтветитьFab value you guys are getting in China, loving the series…. 🥢 & 🍦❤️ 🇨🇳
ОтветитьI live in Glasgow and hakf decent hotpot here is about £30/head so £20 for 2 is nice. Also ice cream 20p! China so affordable, that is freedom in my books.
Ответитьwelldone
Ответить😊The essence of eating Chao Shan beef hotpot is the sand tea sauce! You found it! The first bite of beef was glued to the sand tea sauce. It was delicious! The tea sauce is a bit sweet and you guys should love it! In addition, Xiamen has another snack called sand tea noodles, which also uses the same sauce!❤
Next time if you ever visit Xiamen again, taste the Shacha Noodle (沙茶面). That is truly the specialty food you can only get in Xiamen, and not in any other Chinese cities. 😀
ОтветитьGreat vid guys👍🏽
ОтветитьThis city is famous for sea food not hot pot hot pot is not common in hers!😅😅😅
ОтветитьLove hotpot... and its nice to see you eating the tamer flavour of hotpot. I always find it strange when foodie vloggers almost kill their tastebuds trying the spicy hotpots in China, and watch them take only small bites of things, while trying to look like they're enjoying themselves. I've introduced hotpot to my western friends, and they love how easy and convenient it is to do at home....And really there's not wrong way to eat hotpot. People are suggesting to eat the noodles last, is because by then your soup would be nicely flavoured with all the meat and veggies, and the noodles would soak up the flavour.
ОтветитьChaoshan beef hot pot is a famous hot pot style from the Chaoshan region in Guangdong Province. The beef used is sourced from Inner Mongolia or Ningxia, paired with a clear broth and specially made dipping sauces. As a Chinese-American, this is a must-eat for me every time I return to China.
My hometown is in Guangdong, and you should definitely visit! Cantonese cuisine is the top among China’s Eight Great Cuisines. Its freshness and delicate flavors are unmatched by the cuisine from other regions in China
Looks like a good meal.😊
ОтветитьMeat first , then vegetables noodles is the last
