Facing a sudden storm at sea on a small boat, especially with the Teulu Tribe, showcases your incredible bravery and resilience. Your ability to navigate such intense and unexpected challenges with courage and resourcefulness is truly remarkable. It’s inspiring to see how you handle these high-stress situations with such strength and calm. And I am Floating Village Life, Hit follow and let's explore together!
ОтветитьPut that guy in slips!
ОтветитьNicaragua, that will make it easier to pronounce ! 🤣🤣🤣
Ответитьwe made it!
Ответить"when life gives you Mangoes........."😂👌👌👌
ОтветитьWow brilliant vid. Glad you got thru that storm. And you eating those mangoes, you could sea the taste in your eyes....LOLOL Keep safe and can't wait for the next one!!!!!
ОтветитьYou will get out of it quicker buy putting it on your quarter
ОтветитьYou are both so inspiring. You handled that with skill and a calmness unbefitting of your years!!! Bloody brilliant. And those Mangos!!!🤤. Thanks for a great video.
ОтветитьBrilliant, loved it.
ОтветитьVery well done! I am impressed with how well you coped and kept your heads.
Ответитьhi teulu tribe do you need thumbnail designer ?
ОтветитьThese episodes just keep getting better. I love the honesty and emotions you include. Fair winds.
ОтветитьGot slammed like that on a racing boat. Straits of Hormuz on the Dubai - Muscat race, 9 knots of wind to 55 knots in seconds, all sail up and knocked flat ! Only lasted about 20 minutes though 😀
ОтветитьI had been on 23 ft yacht in a strong breeze (i.e. Beaufort 6) 24 kn, gusting 32 kn at the Southern edge of Kattegat (also known locally as "The North Sea, Light Ed."), waves not so high (5 ft) because the sea is shielded by the lee side of land.
It was a lot of fun, but also challenging, e.g. watching the sea surface so one changes course - sail much closer to the wind - exactly when a gust hits the boat. Course corrected exactly when the gust has passed.
A gust on the sea surface looks round/a circle with a very twisted edge. Inside it one can see a lots of small dots.
You two. I’m glad you showed the clip from back in Britain. You’ve really grown into your life.
I wonder if the previous owners of Teulu watch your adventures.
Happy you are safe,You provide the best videos, always entertaining and interesting. Like Becca said, it will certainly be a story to tell the kids about in the future. ❤ love always and thank you for sharing with all of us.
ОтветитьAccording to some people on the internet many biting insects hate the smell of vanilla . they say to mix it with water and cinnamon if you have it , then spray it around window and door frames and even on your self for a non toxic repellent . I would try it around one part of the boat first to see if it works with what's in your area . if nothing else it would be better than damp socks smell.

ОтветитьI love that compass ! A beauty.
Ответить50knts it’s is not that bad. Wait until you get in storms that lasts for days at sea.
ОтветитьPerhaps they aren't there because of the dengue mosquitoes ? Lightning is almost impossible to predict , here they just say lighting might happen somewhere, but they do not try to say where or even when, its always very generalized. I know of only one sailor who happened to have a camera (Cell or Iphone maybe) running when his ship actually got hit by lightning. It was the most crazy thing I've ever seen and I have his 5 lightning series videos in a Playlist ! Those Mango's sounded amazing ! Thanks guys.
ОтветитьCourage is knowing your fears and moving forward. Zack was at the helm with concerns and Becka responded, that’s teamwork! You were both calm and collected.
ОтветитьI hope to Indonesia ❤
ОтветитьIf you worry you suffer twice. That it such a great way of looking at things. Years ago a great friend told me worry is like a rocking chair... it gives you something to do but gets you absolutely nowhere.
Ответитьgood for a giggle
ОтветитьI have followed you since day one and you constantly impress me. Your a good team, Becka is calm, steady and has a backbone personality, Zack is practical a planner and has a steady personality.
When you first bought Teulu I once told you that no one will know your boat better than you do and over the time of your adventures you have demonstrated how you are at one with Teulu.
I really like this channel but it would be good to see more support for the sailing brothers. You won’t regret it
ОтветитьBeka doing a killer job of keeping her man focused under stress. good job team :D
ОтветитьThumbnails a little too much, otherwise very good content
ОтветитьIn a word 'WOW' what an episode, the fruit salad ending, perfect, repellent a must, dengue not to be messed with 👍
Ответить♥️♥️🫶🏻🫶🏻
ОтветитьYou gave the best advise regarding worry and anxiety. It bears repeating:
“If it is, it is. Like literally, there’s nothing you can do.
If you worry you suffer twice.”
Worry puts your focus on something which has not happened. Something which might never happen. Often the thought centers on the worst possible outcome. Feeling anxiety near danger is simple common sense. You do everything you must to secure a positive outcome. This happens in the present. Worry is aimless and set in the future.
Thank you for you wisdom in a stressful moment.
Too long, considering content.
ОтветитьGreat video. Congratulations on weathering that storm so competently and calmly. Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьYou should try hoving to next time, where you can rest while the front passes instead of running where you have to wrestle the boat and not jibe and possibly break something ! 😢
ОтветитьLife isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, its about learning to dance in the rain ❤
ОтветитьCe n'est pas un si petit voilier que veut bien faire croire le titre....! ?
ОтветитьHello, That was great work to deal with that severe storm. You two have come a long long way since you started. I have been wondering if you are planning to enclose the cockpit so you can stay dry? Keep up the good work. Your videos are great. ciao. geo
ОтветитьBecca, your "Mango Face" was frekin' hysterical! LOVE IT!
ОтветитьNic-a-rag-yu-ah. Tough night on the seas but you handled it well and survived!! Well done. Love the videos and really enjoying following along! If not for severe motion sickness I would be out there as well.
ОтветитьNo doubt that you’re ‘Bloody doing it’ now! Wow what an episode. You’re so inspirational and wise too. It seems that the tricky bit now is for Zach to learn how to catch the mango 😂
ОтветитьCourage!!
ОтветитьJust curious why you turned off the starlink?
ОтветитьI have followed you since you started this journey and I remember how emotional and and nervous you were. now you are able to weather such a storm and then sit and calmly talk about it. you have both grown so much during your adventures and you should be proud of your achievements. You have also become such story tellers, its a real privilege to watch and follow you both.
ОтветитьLove when she said she’s going to do a little yoga 🧘🏽 while visiting Nicaragua
ОтветитьLove the accent. Cool channel 😎
Ответитьa heap of mango slices on top of a good vanilla ice cream is amazing
ОтветитьGreat video, guys. ❤
ОтветитьDon't blow away with us in this one 😉 joking asides, that was for sure the wildest weather we have had to date. Listening with headphones gives you a real feel for how it really was that night. Do you like thunderstorms?
