I never understood why they didn't just get Alex to find the bags, dig them up, and then unload them while they kept a gun on him from a safe distance. If the bags were booby trapped, Alex would've been killed and they'd be ok. If Alex had a gun in the bag, they could've shot him before he went for it.

Also, I love how Dave ends up suggesting Alex's original plan back to him (without even realising it). Even criminals have bureaucratic nightmares!

Why's Ray okaying this plan of the two of them digging up the bag, when he himself just put a bomb in a safebox not that long ago?

I was thinking this scene was shaping up to be like the Jeremy Piven roof scene..and Jeremy offered 200K and that was about 30 years ago so that value’s about even.
Interesting scene. I like it. I particularly like how CALM the guy was! Only reason it would have worked. Most guys would have been SHITTING A BRICK! Would have been so nervous they probably would have forgotten that they even HAD the damn money Lol.

My one problem with this scene is he goes from 4 duffle bags to a singular bag.

I love this show. I find it so brilliant how this mob guy finds himself in a similar situation to what Ray was subjected to at the hands of Dave, who he now works together with and trusts as a partner. This show has a certain kind of magic that you can't buy with a billion dollars.

I get that he delivers all the lines like this but the way he says you killed my fucking dog you can really tell angry he truly is
