His comments about the weeds and cattle, underlines one of the great things about the Scottish Highland cattle. Because when grazing , the Highland cattle eat the grass and the weeds as well ! Highland cattle are both grazers and browsers as well. They will eat grass , briars , brambles as well as the thistles. Turning it all into the highest quality beef ! Highland cattle are a great choice for improving pastures !
Blake , you mentioned wanting to have milk products for your farm. Here is something to think about. Any animal that has live birth and then nurses their young , can be milked ! Dairy cows , goats , sheep , horses , and yes , even beef cattle . Highland cattle not only provide premium beef , improve pastures but they also give a premium milk ! They don't give as much milk as a dairy cow but the milk is of the highest quality .

Why not put a frozen 2 liter bottle in a bucket of water instead of emptying the line twice a day?
