Celebrating Toyota Canada's 60th Anniversary at Heninger Toyota! August 27th | We were honored to welcome our special guests during Toyota Canada’s cross-country “Kanreki” road trip as they made a memorable stop here at Heninger Toyota in Calgary, Alberta! This coast-to-coast tour marks 60 incredible years of Toyota in Canada, showcasing 20 different models and sharing stories that have shaped the brand's journey.

Our very own Mitch Massey (GM), Nicholas Gibson (Assistant GM) and Brian Heninger (Dealer Emeritus) shared wonderful stories and insights about Heninger Toyota’s role in Toyota's Canadian history. From becoming an official Toyota dealership in 1968 to selling over 60,000 vehicles, we’re proud to have been a part of Toyota’s remarkable journey.

Our dealership displayed some legendary Toyota models, like the Crown, Land Cruiser, and the iconic 700UP10 (Publica)— three of the first Toyotas sold in Canada back in 1965.

And to top it off, the Toyota Canada convoy made there way through our Service Bays, where they were greeted by our enthusiastic tech staff. It was a fantastic way to wrap up the celebration and a unique experience for everyone involved!
