In my childhood, during sun eclipses, I used to look at the sun through a VHS tape and see what was going on. That is so nostalgic ❤

ОтветитьI had an old box tv that had vhs and vcr connected to it
ОтветитьI remember back in the days when our fathers considered the number of heads to be a sign of superiority and praising each other, but 99% didn't know what exactly these heads were 😂
ОтветитьI love learning how stuff works long after I've thrown it away. 🤣
ОтветитьHaving taken one apart myself, this video is meticulously made and completely accurate. Wow.

ОтветитьForty years old here. I still use my VCR, as well as my DVD and Blu-Ray systems. I have no streaming subscriptions. I don't know how they operate, and I'd rather save my money on something I know I'll like.
ОтветитьI got the VHS set of “Faces of Death.”
ОтветитьDon't forget about the drive ins
ОтветитьWhy bother with physical media, cus I want to own my media and not worry if it's being tamperd with
ОтветитьHay Jared, would you consider making a video on how a gaming console works? Like a PS5 or Xbox Series X. Plus, how do they play DVD and Blu-ray in their disc drives. Keep up good work. May God bless you!
ОтветитьI just have one question, If old movies on VHS were shot in a box shaped screen how did they later stretch them to a wider screen on flat screen tv’s today?

ОтветитьI was actually born in 2005, but I still grew up using VHS. My parents didn’t see the point in getting rid of their still functioning VCR, so i grew up with a mix between VHS, DVD, and Streaming. Which one I used depended on what I wanted to watch, and what we had that on. So if I use my favorite shows back then as an example, I watched Blues Clues on VHS, I watched Go Diego Go on DVD, and I watched SpongeBob SquarePants on streaming. I also had most of my favorite Disney movies on VHS, like Aladdin or The Fox and the Hound or Winnie the Pooh.
We kept that VCR around until it just… broke one day. I was around seven or eight I think, so this would’ve been around 2012 to 2013, and I was there first-hand, watching Aladdin as I was drifting off to sleep, before all of a sudden the VCR started making a really loud beeping noise and the picture was all blurry, so I had to get my parents to help turn it off. but we weren’t able to salvage it, so a few days later, we all got together to gather our VHS tapes to get rid of. I’m not sure what we did with them, maybe we gave them to a thrift store, but I was actually quite sad to see them go.
I was born in 2001 and I watched VHS tapes when I was a baby and toddler. Stuff like Little Einsteins, the Wiggles, Vegietales.
ОтветитьI love analog tape devices!!!
ОтветитьДякую за Укр. переклад, але найміть дублера!
Ответитьلحد الان عندي جهاز فديو جميل جداً
ОтветитьI was born in 1981 and grew up going to movie rental stores weekly. Some of my fav memories of my youth were renting vhs and Nintendo games with friends and family.
In the early 2000s when video stores started to become extinct I began expanding my little vhs collection. I now have approx 1500 vhs tapes with a wide variety of choice films.📼🎥🤌🏼
Of course I also collect VCRs, have about a dozen but only 3 are operable.😆
Fortunately VCRs are still available by the plenty for reasonable prices at flea markets, thrift stores, marketplace etc. I still watch films on vhs everyday in 2025, and will keep going til I wear them all out.📼💪🏼
Thank you for the best and most descriptive explanation of the inner workings of the VCR that I’ve ever heard.
Much appreciated.
Peace to all the other VHS lovers out there.

ОтветитьWszystko fajnie tylko ten akcent, łapka w dół, nie da się tego słuchać...

ОтветитьAnyone got a good working vcr
Ответить
