[MKW] SNES Mario Circuit 3 - 1:17.821 (WR)

Previous WR: 1:17.831 by myself (0.010 WR cut)

This was actually set around the same time the 831 was uploaded, and similarly, this run also has very consistent splits, but with slightly better laps 2 and 3.

Lap 1 - 26.063
A very mixed lap. The opening few turns were excellent. U-turn was tight but somehow my wheelie out of it was delayed, which lost quite a bit compared to the ghost. SC was amazing and recovered the lap. I lost time on the last 2 turns due to drifting too tight after the counter drift on 2nd to last turn.

Lap 2 - 25.884
Good but there's small things everywhere. 1st turn can be better, the 3rd mt of the triple could be released sooner, alignment was slightly too tight for the u-turn, SC exit was a bit wide and I dropped some speed and the last turn was also a little wide. I can hit 85x if I get everything right.

Lap 3 - 25.874

Similar strength to lap 2. I hit 1 frame of offroad at the start of the triple but I don't think it lost hardly anything, the 3rd mt of the triple again could've been released earlier. I had a good line for the u-turn but I thought I hopped too early, so I hesitated a bit which made the u-turn visibly wide. SC can be tighter but at least I got a good exit, 2nd to last turn is good but can be done faster, and I had a sub-optimal boost pad hit at the end.

Overall a very solid run but it falls just short of my minimum goal for this track. But to be honest, if I don't improve in the near future and the activity here dies down, I'm happy for this to sit for a while.
