Over my last 40 years I’ve probably fished 1000 trips with fishing guides. Didn’t hurt my best friend was a guide and often got invited when he had a solo or a big trip that needed help. Anyway my point being 999 of those trips started just like this in a cafe telling of yesterdays fish stories that may or may not been factual but hey everybody gets excited.

Pulled an 8lb from there 2 weeks ago, the fishing is very tough, so much submerged salt cedar brush, impossible to bank fish, that’s part of the reason they can grow so big. Them fish are getting hit hard, highly pressured. Saw truck plates all the way from North Dakota.

I fish that lake before it opened. Tresspassed w/my inner tube. This was before kayaks. Fishin was very good. Numbers and quality bigs.

This trip is awesome so far and none landed beforenhalf time. This is an awesome video for all the people out there that say ffs is cheating. This proves my point. I've been talking about it just because you're using ffs doesn't guarantee catching a fish. It only improves your chances of finding them. Chris, you still grinded out there for a big one, and im waiting to see you do it! It's good to see you using ffs because too many pros are missing out on a great opportunity to find more fish.
