Its kind of ironic considering that Powerpuff Girls was pretty feminist in a lot of ways

So your back too. I remember feminist frequency covered this episode and trope years ago so it's nice to see it revisited.

It's intentionally exaggerated to simplify a complex topic to kids. Femme Fatale is not based on the "modern" 3rd wave feminist archetype either, but rather the 70s--90s militant WLM feminist (Note her design. Think Valerie Solanas and the like).

Either way it's a good episode that illustrates a good moral to kids. It's not meant to be a literal representation of what a radical feminist is like, just how those evil CEOs in kid's films aren't literal either. It's a caricature, essentially. It combines all the bad traits of radical feminism and exaggerates them.

Watched the full episode, that was fantastic! Loved the exploration of the Power Puff episode and the female writer's regret of it, then the 30 Rock example. Left a comment on the Instagram. Thanks Marina!

I think the dangers of radical feminism is a good lesson for kids, but it is REALLY complex and it can very easily give them the wrong idea of feminism. I think the episode probably would have been better as a 30 minute special, and if they had a genuine feminist superhero (or villain, that wants the powerpuff girls to treat her as they would any male villain) to contrast against femme fatale's radical ideas.

'I look to a day when all people can be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin.' - MLK Jr. (BOSS)

Liberals tend to 'meet people where they're at' - as groups and not as individuals (ergo: overlooking poor systemically abused caucasians - who also are violated on a regular basis by police because they're just dicks and not necessarily racially oppressive dicks.) • Conservatives tend to view people 'all the same' as you said, but not as you meant. All the same being: as people, with attention to each by their individual circumstances. • Although they also tend to be a bit heavy on 'preserving systems', which I can often disagree heavily with: like how bad the justice system is with caging humans as a big business for 'crimes' in which there was no actual victim (ergo: not actually a crime - like driving on a suspended license or open container etc.)

I'm very liberal leaning in the traditional sense: which is to be more open to change and helping people off of the bottom (the disabled / homeless / low income / etc. - by them as 'people' not by 'skin color').

Socialism and group identity ideologies are harmful, and create polarization (black vs white, rich vs poor, male vs female). Historically, socialism when implemented does this: Calls for equality, targets those thought 'better off/privileged' - and attacks/oppresses them because they're labeled as 'the bad guys' (currently white males in the US) - God help you if you were born the wrong skin color or sex: because racism and sexism is back in full swing - being used by the left blindly in attempt to stop racism and sexism (ideological indoctrination of marxist precepts by feminist groups and gender/equality humanities college courses).

Marxism ideologies such as 'group identity' and 'equality of outcome' rather than the acceptable equality of opportunity: killed nearly 100 million people.

We are not black vs white. We are humans struggling in a tough works together, and need to help those who need help AS INDIVIDUALS - 'by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin'.

I love the video Marina! It is nice to see you again! In my home, it is hard to be around people who have misogynist and anti-lgbt beliefs. I just keep quiet because I don't want to get into arguments. And even if I want to, I would get emotional and fail to make persuasive speech. I don't know. It's probably because I keep it in me for so long.

What are feminists even fighting for? If anything women have more privileges than men now and they have equal rights to men legally. Also this powerpuff girl villian archetype is a perfect representation of how radical feminists think.
