this is wonderful ballerina, and I like the technic and old style, but choreography does not correspond to music, it is very important to dance with music, but not against.

Lori blows away the NYC dancer who didn’t perform the last 20 seconds at our local Nutcracker today. The spins at the end (can’t spell the French word for them) is what elevates them from a dancer to Prima Ballerina.

Never been a big Nutcracker fan, more of a Swan Lake, Carmen and Giselle girl but I gotta say, Lori, you are simply divine as the Sugar Plum Fairy. With the glass harmonica, you seem feather light and magical, like a music box doll which is not so with half the ballerinas in this role. I feel enchanted when I see you dance. Just stunning 🎉❤

Who remembers the Balanchine? slide? It involved an extended pointed foot to the front (of course with point shoes) and then a drag with other leg to meet the front leg. Gosh it sounds impossible now. Not then! Man we rocked those variations.
