I am still waiting to hear an update on the movie! I loved the book and was really pumped when I heard that they're working on a movie deal.

My actual fan cast for this movie is Whitney peak as Citra and I’m not rly sure about Rowan but prolly either Gavin Leatherwood or someone like that as him. Scythe Curie I would LOVE Eve Best in that role but I don’t know if that will come to fruition since Neal wants Meryl Streep or Helen Mirren in the role. He also wants Ian McKellen as Scythe Faraday which I think would be GREAT but also Harrison Ford could also do it now that he’s older and embracing older roles. Scythe Goddard does have a semi-darker skin tone in the books and is younger so he could be played by Mena Massoud

Why do Rowan and Citra look so old and also Citra is supposed to have a darker skin tone in the books

I really hope that when they do eventually make movies that the books aren’t ruined and that they do them justice

This, was the first book that actually made me cry in the end, I'm not a typically sensitive to anything I know isn't real, but the way it was made was so well thought out, well organized and utilized to near perfection! I had never read a book series faster than this and never had felt so sad to see it end!

This was such a poorly made trailer for what is a pretty good read. Ignoring everything else, the fact they are using such a cheap looking prop instead of something more professional like a combat knife is odd. This takes place 200 something years and the future right? You’d think they’d use silenced weapons or more sophisticated weaponry.

UPDATE FOR YALL In March 2024, it was announced that Scythe wouldn't be produced as a movie, instead it would be a TV show with Universal.
