How to Use the Motorola Droid Turbo on Other Carriers

On my text messages, it wont let me send or receive photos and wont let me be on a group text message. Any suggestions?

Hello I bought my Droid Turbo and I'm using it with a Simple mobile sim card but it won't let me use it as a mobile hospot (the mobile hospot only works with the Verizon sim card)...can I fix that or should I return the phone???? Did yours works as a hospot with the sim you're using????
Please answer ASAP I only have 4 days left to return it :'(

"crack knuckles" I got a worthy challenge for you. I bought my Droid Turbo in April. My buddy gave me the right APN settings to get it working (it took a few attempts with different APN settings) but it finally work. My phone broke last week. I bought a new one because I love the Turbo. I've tried putting in the same settings but my buddy can't find them. I've put in the settings you stated but can not seem to get the LTE data connection I had April through just recently. Also, when I text certain people it chops off the area code as I send the text and the message fails? I set this up the first time in Logan, Utah and now I am in Chesapeake, Virgina. Dinner on me if you can save me!

So If I got this right I could also use this on a carrier in a different country when travelling. The only issue I possibly see is dealing with the frequencies used as you pointed out with ATT in New York. I could also see someone going on a two week vacation and just simply handing the phone back to verizon for a refund. Possibly me!

My Droid Turbo does not allow me to edit or add any APN settings. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a workaround?

one problem on mine is that it works good for 10/15 minutes and then it saids that signal is not available and i have to restart in order for me to make another call i am using 4g and i try it with 3g and it does not work..what can i do ?

I bought my turbo through Verizon, Verizon says it is unlock but Cricket says I cannot use my turbo on their service. So does this mean I just buy a cricket SIM anyway? Then call them to activate? If that is true I would be the happiest man alive. I love my Turbo but hate Verizon.

Will this work with a Rogers wireless prepaid sim card from Canada (I live in NY)? And can I easily switch back and forth? I travel up there several times a year but even when I add on the international package briefly for those trips I just never get good service. If it would work do you by any chance know how billing would turn out if I'm not cancelling my Verizon service but using a different sim for a week here and there? I don't want to get double charged with international charges on top of it. Thanks!

doesnt work on MetroPCS SIM Cards. Even after T-Mobile proxys.

As other people have stated, the APN settings seems to be locked down on the Droid Turbo now. Is there any known work around for this?

I'm using the droid turbo with a T-Mobile SIM. I'm not getting the initial signal bars when I insert the SIM. I have access to the other settings, but can't sign into the T-Mobile network even after configuring the APN settings. Any clue as to how I can troubleshoot? Thanks!!

Hey I recently just got a Droid Turbo 2 and I have AT&T in when I put my SIM card in I have that problem where I am not getting data from AT&T can you please direct me to your page where it can tell me what to put in the APN for the phone in for AT&T so I can please get data working on my phone thank you

This doesn't work well with metro pcs. Data and text is great and fast but voice is no good. I constantly drop calls. I live in a high LTE area and it constantly loses signal and I can't make calls. Not too good in a emergency situation 😑😑😑
