ОтветитьWould love to see video games in the near future that can be made by ai daily, so each time you play it provides a different game for everyone at any given time,your experience would be different then your friends experience,your weapons and armor would be different and could be traded or sold for in game purchases,enemys and bosses would be different each time you enter the open world and drop unique items and working together would provide both people a different experience then a solo game but not lose sight of what made games like zelda breath of the wild so fun to begin with,story driven by actual people and entire maps created by people and special bosses made by developers creating a game inside a bigger game universe..thats something to aspire too

How do I respond to this video? I... Where do I begin? You know what, I just don't feel like it. So I'll just address a single issue and leave it at that.
Wolfenstein 3D was released on 1992-05-05. Every wall was it 90° angle, the floor was flat, there was no actual lighting, there were no projectiles the 'bullets' were just calculated from line of fire
Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss was released March 1992. It rendered an actual 3D environment with vertical depth and six degrees of freedom. Players could interact with NPCs, the environment, and monsters. They had many more options than just shoot everything that moved. Objects in the environment could be manipulated. Walls were non-flat, the floor_s_ were non-flat, there were platforms that could be walked under. The game used real projectiles. There was dynamic lighting resulting from multiple life sources within the environment. Shadows we're projected based on light sources. And there was textured lighting effects, a light from a torch differed from the light of a magical energy ball.
December 1993, Doom added fake vertical environments add walls at angles other than 90°.
Response time is important for people playing games. So is consistance.
AI implementation in the tradional game setup is the future of AI in games. But AI actually generating the image for you and reacting to your inputs... That will not hold up. I think we will see it fall flat just like VR did too, the first.. what ? 50 years ? The idea and how to do it is there. But being able to actually make it real for the average consumer... count 50 years into the future. Maybe 25 🤷♀
I bet Carmack wishes he invested the last few decades into AI instead of VR. Then again, after Doom and Quake he's really just dicking around instead of delivering world changing products.

ОтветитьThis is amazing. I can’t wait to see what games look like in 10 years, 20 years.. maybe people can just generate their own games from whatever their imaginations can ponder, and then tweak it during play throughs
ОтветитьI Actually been doing this already with mods I been editing. Been using ai and displacement to make some of it 3d. Using other mods to combine what works together and my own preferences. I already got it looking good as f-ck right now. As much as I can anyways. But been using a little ai to help. I play it in VR. But still making changes.

Ответитьit was never called 2.5D XD doom IS a 3D game, maybe it's world and assets aren't 3D models, but the math and logic IS 3D, the fact you can shoot a demon on a ledge above you proves it. lmfao

Ответитьnah im good, i still haven't found all the secrets yet in the original game there's still plenty of game left and MyHouseWAD is still making the rounds. human's haven't reached the end of making things in doom so lets not let the robots take all the ideas yet and mass produce them by the millions to be lost alongside all the other crappy WADs

I remember seeing cutscenes from Final Fantasy 7 and being blown away but at the time I knew that those graphics would eventually be laughable in my lifetime and actual gameplay would look way better
This really does seem like the far future of gaming to me, we just aren't really there with current consumer hardware yet

ОтветитьIt took a video, and then stored the optic flows in a usable value ... then it basically made a emulator that barely runs ... which is why it's 20fps...optimized, it's still lower than a developer

the world sucks why cant we have non ai-generated stuff? why do people like that in the future nothing was made by humans and by ai instead?
