It has been a while since I have done this practice. Fantastic workout! 🙂💜
ОтветитьBUILD 19: I would love to hear some recommendations of how to tack this on to other practices. This is definitely one of those areas where my conditioning is sorely lacking, and I'm curious about how I can tend to that
ОтветитьNope nope nope (still did it but I'm not happy)
ОтветитьBuild, April 19, 2024. Definitely felt the heat on this one. Powered on and felt great by the end of today's practice. Continuing to build strength each day. 💙
ОтветитьDay 19 of April ❤️🙏🏼 day 1145
ОтветитьDay 19 complete I didn't really like it this time. 04/19/2024
ОтветитьBUILD 🔥 | April 19, 2024 | It's been a while since we did this one, but I haven't forgotten it, ha! Quick but effective, a little goes a long way! 🙏
ОтветитьBUILD Day 19 ✅️ I really needed this! 🔥 Thank you again! ❤
Ответитьshort practice, but, BOY, did that pack a punch!
ОтветитьBuild🧱 - April 2024
I build a strong body in a loving, caring and connected manner.
God I love a strengthening practice! Felt empowered after Aaron’s fabulously challenging practice to continue with the powerful momentum so I decided to complete todays free practice as well and boy do my arms feel worked in the best way possible! I love that taught, tight feeling you get in your muscles post-workout: a nice reminder of the good work your putting into your body💪. Today was also the perfect day to celebrate the strength of my amazing body as long story short i’ve finally managed to get to my healthy weight in eating disorder recovery which is a HUGE achievement for me, not only becuase i’ve been working towards this goal for a couple of years now, but also because im in the best place mentally (and subsequently physically) i’ve been in for a LONG time so it feels extra special. I’m so proud of my body and mind and all that i’ve accomplished, and a part of it is down to my yoga practice and to Adriene and this community who both ground and uplift me every time I arrive on my mat. I’ve been able to accept my body at its every stage and learnt to celebrate the joys of adaptation and growing into my truest and healthiest self through my practice. Yoga with Adriene has literally been a lifesaver and for that i will be eternally grateful to you, Adriene, and your amazing team❤️. Thank you Adriene and Aaron🙏💓. You’ve both lit up my day and fired up the muscles in my arms😅🙌❤️🔥! Namaste friends xx
Following along with April Build Calendar! I can do hard things! I love you Adriene, as always, thank you!
ОтветитьStill here for BUILD April 2024. It's been an immensely stressful week and I wasn't able to do my yoga practice every day but I did as much as I could. Have been feeling a bit weak and this was another hard one ... but I did it!
Sending love and hugs to everyone and especially to everyone who's having a difficult time right now.
Unending gratitude to Adriene, Benji & the whole team for keeping me on track! 💖💖
Still here for BUILD April 2024 ... and my comment just disappeared into Nirvana. That's pretty much how my whole week went, extremely stressful and frustrating. Wasn't able to do the practice every day but I did as much as I could.
Sending extra love & hugs to everybody who is having a hard time and all the others, too!
Unending gratitude to Adriene, Benji & the team for keeping me on track. 💖
Wow… I wasn’t prepared for that. Glad I got through it… but I’m going to need to come back to it again to properly conquer it!
🙏 🧘 🫶🏼
Surely halfway through is a fine time to quit
ОтветитьUgh even in half plank, I am weak. But I will get strong.
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьi found myself having some negative self talk during this practice. push ups and upper body have always been weak for me, and to be honest i haven’t done a real push up since i was in grade school. i want to say “this is a reminder to show up and work through this with your body,” but really all i am hearing is “you’re not good/strong/worthy enough to even try.” which i know isn’t true.
awareness is key, but it’s still tough.
see y’all on the mat, namaste 🙏🏼 ❤

Ответитьmy wrists my poor wrists (i'm ok but the sudden side plank and shifting my weight on them so quickly did hurt)
Ответитьdelicious soles
ОтветитьJust what I needed!
ОтветитьGood mornign from Dublin and thank you Adriene x
Ответитьintense work, feels awesome, love it!!! :)
Ответитьappreciate you so much
ОтветитьI would only do push ups for you, A ❤❤❤
ОтветитьTried this one last year and gave up half way through. Now I’m after some time spent lifting weights and working on my yoga and: made it through with a smile on my face! Don’t give up guys :) Thanks as always, Adriene!
ОтветитьI m stiff how to sit cross legged
ОтветитьThank you ❤
ОтветитьThis was awesome who’s here in 2024
ОтветитьIt went amazing! I absolutely love your channel. I appreciate you for what you do.
ОтветитьMy wrists hurt so much after doing this 😢
ОтветитьI'm trying to gain strength to go from chaturanga to up-dog and this is perfect 🩷
ОтветитьThis really hurt my knees and wrists. I had to stop midway. I love your videos but this one was painful.
ОтветитьI used to do your videos all of the time and I fell out of my routine - got so out of shape and so weak, felt frustrated doing these and a bit disappointed in myself.
Cant wait to see my progress and be proud of my body again❤️
Awesome for warm up before push day. Wrists, chest, abdomen were well worked
ОтветитьThank you. I was depressed and feeling sorry for myself before this practice. Nowi feel strong
Ответить2 mile walk, did the good old squeaky floor runners cool down video, now debating this one. The comments have me both excited and petrified! I am taking solace in "its only 13 minutes... Its not even 15 minutes, you can handle that much more"; ..but am i really up to the challenge??
ОтветитьWill this workout help strengthen your wrist and forearms? I'm trying to reduce pain from crocheting and I heard yoga is a good place to start
ОтветитьThis was super challenging, and I'm grateful. Thanks so much ❤
ОтветитьI sprained my shoulder about two months ago and had to give it complete rest for several weeks. Doing this practice several times a week has been so helpful in slowly and carefully building back up to my previous activity level. Thank you!
ОтветитьWow - that was good 🙏🏽 finally I think I Will get some strength in my arms❤
ОтветитьThis really tests my strength. Hope one day I will stop shaking. Thanks Adriene
Ответить👍🙏
ОтветитьSo glad that your videos stay here, ad-free. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьI really felt strong after and stretched/relaxed
ОтветитьI love that no matter how long I' away from the mat for, I can always come back to YWA!!!!
Ответить13 minutes, my friends. Today’s new practice is short and invites your Sadhana in with a certain kind of magic. Are you in?
