The E55 AMG here was healthy. The S65 AMG was also brutally fast.

Axtually,, in this particulat video it is more that the S65 AMG was brutally fast and the E55 ws going well; it humiliated the new M3. Great to hear :) Do a review on Amazon if you like. I beleive you seen the "Supercar Shootout 3" from May 2008?

Not sure where you got those numbers from but a S65 has 604 horsepower and 738 ft lb torque. E55 has only 469 hp and 516 tq.

Sorry. My mistake. The S in the video is a 2006 s65amg, not a s55 like I thought. In 2006 I was researching they made the s65 in that older bodystyle. Sorry.

the old (2006) s65 amg is actually faster than the new (2007-) s65 it weights a bit less

The S65 should only be about 2 car lengths ahead up to 120 mph and slowly walking.
Sense it’s an old video, I think a lot of people weren’t aware of the failing intercooler pumps.
