Hey man, be aware that niva's transmission hardly can cope with torque more than 120 N*m. dont push throttle too hard after converting it to EV. best regards.

I think you forgot to put word SUKA in a registration plate.

Really a great and interesting sight :) As Slava B stated in the comments - be careful with the gearbox, they are known to fail when stressed and they so not do well in high torque use. In Russia and Europe in general where Nivas are common, the entire new gearbox is not expensive, but it can get expensive for you there. I recommend getting a spare one just in case because it will fail eventually, especially if you still plan in converting it to electric. It is cheaper to get the part when you don’t need it and you are not in a hurry than ehen you actually need it. You may try reaching out to Garage 54 guys for some help, they may find your project interesting, too.
