It is a favorite among fisherman because of how strong and quick it can be tied. It is simple to learn and easy to tie. Highly recommend this knot for anyone that fishes for big bass.

Here are the steps to tie this fishing knot:
Step 1: run line through eye of hook
Step 2: run the line back through the eye, doubling it up
Step 3: Tie a basic half hitch knot (standard knot)
