CRC30: Sachin Tendulkar stands up for children’s rights

In 1989, world leaders came together to sign the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, an international agreement that promises every child a right to childhood. Thirty years on, UNICEF is calling on governments and their leaders to commit to renewed action to protect and promote the rights of every child, now, and for future generations. UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar is joining the growing chorus of calls for urgent measures to safeguard these fundamental rights promised three decades ago.
