Connecting Montgomery County, Maryland

People shouldn’t have to choose between buying food and paying for Internet, but financial barriers often prevent people from accessing this crucial resource for education, employment, and more.

In 2021, the Montgomery County Government in Maryland launched MoCoNet to provide free, reliable broadband to low-income and special needs residents in six buildings.
