Thank you! My mom had changed her battery, but it still wasn’t working. So I tried resetting the pin and voila!😊
ОтветитьThank you sir. Haven't tried anything but the battery yet but this makes sense.
ОтветитьGenius, I changed code numbers entirely from original code and it reset like a champ, thank you sir
ОтветитьThanks for giving this info.
ОтветитьThanks mate. TIL my keypad has a battery.
ОтветитьThank you so much! Just helped my mom - also a widow- replace her garage key pad. So grateful for your video.
Ответитьi recently changed the battery and now i have to punch code to close I've reset code several times but still have to punch in code to close. any thoughts
ОтветитьSo if the ENTER key gets worn out from excessive use, time to get a new one... That's where I am today. 😕
Ответить😂 I changed my code and wahlah it works again. 😂 I replaced it twice already
ОтветитьI had two numbers that were use frequently that did not work. Thank you !
ОтветитьMy outside keypad will close the door but not open it. I put in new batteries too.
ОтветитьThanks for the great tips.
ОтветитьGenius! i changed the passcord to different numbers worked! Thanks!
ОтветитьWhen I change the battery, does it lose the passcode?
ОтветитьBro he showed us his code it is 1598
ОтветитьNot working despite fresh battery, worse in cold. I changed codes for all garage bays to least used numbers and back to normal despite cold.
ОтветитьThanks for the Help Just replaced the battery
ОтветитьI was fixing one of my garage door buttons when the keypad stopped working. I thought they were related but probably not. It had also gotten very cold that night. After much troubleshooting, it turns out that one of the keys did not work. Reprogrammed it and now it’s working fine.
ОтветитьNot a trouble shooting video
ОтветитьDo you have any idea why a garage door keypad may cause the door to open by itself at random?
ОтветитьThanks. The only button worn out is the enter button. Guess i have to switch it out
ОтветитьGreat video btw. ? After I set the pad with a new code the enter button doesn’t allow me to lower the door. The new code works to get in but if I leave and hit the enter button nothing happens. Help anyone a video or info would help
ОтветитьThank you! It worked lol
ОтветитьThank you
But what if your enter key is worn out?
Literally zero god damn help.
All this idiot talked about was
Checking a battery? Helen Keller
Can figure that out.
You are the best
ОтветитьThank you so much!!!
ОтветитьWhat if it’s my enter button that is worn out?
ОтветитьThe fix worked. . .(New 9 volt battery!)
ОтветитьI also thought the keypad was hardwired to the house's power. DOH!
Thank you very much for your video. Saved me an embarrassing call to the garage door opener installer. I would have looked like a schmuck.
Excellent video! Very easy to follow, understand and perform! Thank you!!
ОтветитьWould the worn out buttons be a clue to would be perps?
ОтветитьI couldn’t see the red LED backlight in the bright sunshine, so I had to take mine down and bring it inside the dark garage to do this. 😅
ОтветитьFor some reason, my keypad stoped closing the garage door by pressing the enter button. Now, I need to press the code and the enter button for the door to close. Any Idea how to go back to the original setting, where the door closes just by pressing the enter button?
ОтветитьGreetings Scott thank you for your video. I have a Craftsman. My issue is I got new remotes & keypad. I paired them up they work then stop. Idk why???
ОтветитьMy Enter button does not shut down the door but simply blink. If i add code and press enter, then door will shut down
Ответитьcan I have more than 1 code?
Ответитьthank you so much ,, duh ..just replace battery and works again TY TY TY
ОтветитьNot a battery issue for my old pad but great video. Thanks. Will continue to troubleshoot per your other suggestions.
ОтветитьThank you, I've been having a problem for a couple of weeks with my keypad. Two minutes of watching this I've got it fixed.
ОтветитьThank you so much for sharing this information ~ it's just what I needed. Wishing you and your loved ones many blessings!
ОтветитьTerrible
ОтветитьThanks for this video. It appears that one of the numbers I was using must have gotten overused and maybe the button is damaged because when I switched to numbers that I wouldn't typically use, my keypad is now working. Much appreciated
ОтветитьI've had a liftmaster keypad for years working fine for our 2 garage doors. Now suddenly, it only works for one of the doors consistently. The other door it only works randomly about 25% of the time. All other wireless and or wi/fi controls work perfectly fine. I've attempted many times to re-pair the keypad with the door in question. It seems to sync just fine (i.e, blinking light/double click) - but still have problems. Oh and all this still with multiple new batteries. Doesn't make sense to me that the door still responds to EVERY other remote device. And doesn't make sense to me that the keypad works flawlessly for one door, but not the other. Any insight greatly appreciated!
ОтветитьNice voice, you have a radio voice.
ОтветитьWhat a precise video ! This literally covers 99% of the possible issues. And even a 2 year old should be able to follow his narration :)
ОтветитьThank you so much! It was the wiring in the pad and I was able to get a new one on Amazon. Thanks!
ОтветитьI can't get in my gorage to reprogram the paid 😢😢
Ответитьthank you sir. Went out and changed the battery and now the keypad works fine. I told my wife I just cant be doing this stuff for free that she will have to pay. She gave me a high five.
