Thx
ОтветитьWe've all had days like that.
One thing I like about your vlogs is you show the good days and the bad.
Great fighting come back!! Thanks for posting. Peace...!
ОтветитьWay to fight off the ropes Doug 🥊🥊👍👍
ОтветитьOn the Qc10c hand where you bet out 55 on the turn, if the opponent with AQ jams for what would be around 200, do you call? I probably would but if he had more behind I'd lay it down since I'm a mega dog to AcXc
ОтветитьLove this channel
ОтветитьThank you for mention :) I will say I bluffed you on your set hand, figured you put me on heart draw. Look forward to battling it out this week! Next week you're due for a heater!
ОтветитьI done 2 similar plays the other day, except I had a set both times. We can't be doing that kinds of stuff Doug.
ОтветитьBro get a tutor
ОтветитьHi Doug, hope youre well, all good with me, im taking care of my ageing body, haha, got my next session this coming Friday, thanks for all the love and care from your members I fell a lot better, anyway, enough of that stuff, you always play better when you run good, ive had days and days, we all hve them, sometimes , although its difficult we have to get up, have a break, cool down, tilting is easy and then we make mistakes chasing, tough game sometimes, run good buddy, give ZEUS a big hug from me, bless him regards FRASER
ОтветитьI’m guessing you need to prove you’re human every now and then. Can’t think of any other reason. Oh well, great comeback and better luck next week
ОтветитьGood content
ОтветитьLord behold lol. Haven’t heard that before - I’m gonna borrow it.
ОтветитьDoug, here's a question for you I find myself playing on tables recently where everyone is call and bet Happy. The problem is that I try to play a good range and I always open with a raise and then I get no kidding 4 to 5 callers. It's not just me, it's everyone at the table. Even if I continue to increase my open amount I get the same number of callers. Let's say I have ace, king and the board comes Ace 2 4. I bet and bet and then lose to 2, 4. What is your strategy for playing on a table like this? thank you!
ОтветитьJust don’t put up another clu… ah, shit! 😂
ОтветитьAgain, a great vlog Mr. McCusker...totally empathize that day one frustration with great starting hands...keeping it solid is admirable...Goodluck getting that 5k!
ОтветитьWow, what a call on the river with AKd on the 4 club board. That was literally the only hand you beat. Way to sniff it out (or get incredibly lucky).
ОтветитьLimp jam. That's the texas way.
ОтветитьNice to see that you clawed most of that loss back. The mental discipline game and sticking with your strategy is a big part of the battle.
ОтветитьJust started watching!!! I hope it’s a come back ❤
ОтветитьHello Doug! Hey you didn't really play the 96dd hand badly. You were getting implied odds, to go along with the direct odds to call.
Yeah, it's a paired board, so he can have a boat. But the chances of that as I'm sure you know, are small.
It was bad luck, not bad play.
You spelt REKT wrong! 😂 More comments to come!
ОтветитьToday is the first session I can remember this year where you've run really poorly over an extended session with a bunch of really nice starting hands and some good flops but a lot of bad turns/rivers in big spots...although as you said it was somewhat self inflicted. Unfortunately I've had many similar sessions of running horrifically in 2024... about 10-12 times this year and twice in the last 10 days, losing huge pots rivers as a big favorite when the chips went in on the turn heads up...just brutal variance. I've had a pretty good year overall, but have lost a high percentage of my really big pots this year when heads up and getting it all in on the turn at +80% or better, which really dings the hourly for 2024. The good thing is I've learned a lot about my own mental resilience and believe the scars will help my progression as a player in the long run...but it sure ain't easy.
Nice comeback from your horrific day 1.
Doug, sorry about your week. All though it was a rough one, you always look on the bright side.
ОтветитьWhen you had pocket jacks, if you open to $15 instead of $50, the villain doesn’t jam on you and you can get him off his hand before the river.
ОтветитьNice way to battle back! Another great vlog, Doug!!! Yo Zeus!!!
ОтветитьWhat's up with the woke 'they' garbage? Can you leave ht politics out of your videos?
ОтветитьQ3dd: I don't think the bluff was all that bad. It was a small bet that will probably get better flush draws and maybe 8x to fold. It needs to win less than 1/3 of the time. A smaller bet around 1/3 or 1/4 pot might be better.
99: I don't think the attempted x-raise was that bad here either. With 4 opponents it's likely someone will bet. If you had cbet, you probably would have ended up with multiple callers anyway. The 2h likely does not give anyone a better hand but does bring more draws. I think I'd just bet large instead of x-raising.
don't beat yourself up too bad. You look like a genius when everything is working and a dunce when it doesn't.
Ответитьit seems like when people have sets, they check the flop >90% of the time in early position. So, if someone in EP bets out on the flop, it almost means they don't have a set, so you can raise your 2 pair hands with confidence or raise with your draw hands and not worry too much about villains snap calling or shoving all-in.
Ответитьunforced errors might cause you to want to lower the net.
ОтветитьBad sessions help us appreciate those good sessions even more. Keep up the great vlogs.
ОтветитьIam with you on not your day. Last few sessions for me have been bad to say the least. I grind it out and either leave even or down alittle. Just seeming like nothing was working for me
ОтветитьHi Doug
I had AK off in the small blind facing 3 limpers (5 to call) 1 2 2 no limit . I raised to 45 and big blind snap call first limper call as well. Rest folded 3 players to the flop. J 3 5 rainbow and I lead out 50 try to give any pockets pressure lower then Jack. And big blind min raise to 100 with another 100 left.first limper fold and I folded them he show me one of the card was a jack which I think was pocket J. And I didn’t expect JJ because no 3 bet pre. Did I make any mistakes on that hand? Thanks
That sounds exactly like I ran today punted 1200 AQ four times AK twice pocket 10s etc etc etc AJ , get called by 64 spike J on flop bet big guy calls gets 2 pairs on turn 😂
Ответить"....just don't put up another club... that would be really bad.. oh sh*t...". lol... great narration enjoying this one.. (-:
ОтветитьWell, your profit from this vlog to the one today is impressive. Nice job, Doug!!! Keep it up 💯
