If I spoke their language it would be fine to get a picture. You would meet so many new people and strengthen your languages skills as well🇨🇦 but I only speak English 😭
Ответитьi´ve started learning chinese 3 days ago now i love learning it<3
ОтветитьYes I'd let them take pictures with me.
ОтветитьProbably think your from China bc most Americans don't take the time to learn another language.
ОтветитьAbsolutely I would accommodate this. When in rome.....

ОтветитьYo, Detroit! I'm from the area near Saginaw
ОтветитьLanguage breaks barriers. Wonderful!
ОтветитьWell, You look like a Russian, and they get everywhere. A bit like the British. A none ‘idiot abroad’ American ‘meeting people’ rather than ‘invading’ is rather unusual… you realise the music you’re over-dubbing with is also Russian..? 😏
ОтветитьIt would depend on their attitude, but they seem very respectful.
ОтветитьYou'd make a dangerous spy speaking so many languages fluently. I love the way people open up to you, it's a sign of respect for being willing to learn their native tongue. You represent the best of us.
ОтветитьOnly once in Bagan, Myanmar I was approached by an old lady to take a picture with me together with her son. There was this temple with a good sunset view and many people gathered there.
Normally India is famous with this stuff and in New Delhi, during Holi time two blonde women were swarmed by guys to have one photo taken with them. They were not pushy or abusive or anything to these women but there were a lot of guys. As for me, I'm a very Indian-looking dark skinned Turkish guy, so they mainly left me alone. Just like you being mistaken for Russian, I'm sometimes thought to be Indian.
I would certainly take photos.
I love interacting with locals when travelling abroad.
They are so friendly!
Ответитьsure wouldd take a picture1 IM LIVING LIFE AS A CELEB LOL
ОтветитьYou asked if any of us would let people take photos the way they do - in my case no, I wouldn’t because there were too many creeps taking a photo without asking your permission first. They’re constantly focusing on your looks, not your accomplishments and your willingness to converse with them politely. Compliments can be nice but the touching without consent is a no no for a lot of people, especially women. You don’t have to just say yes and can say “I’d rather not but, it was lovely to meet you”. People often rely on a person’s discomfort to do what they want without the person of interest objecting. Just mentioning it, in case you don’t feel able to say no. The lady complimenting you seemed okay. Stay safe, lady. Make sure you’re not followed. Your ability to speak these languages is inspiring. I tune in to watch another video whenever I get a spare few minutes, since speaking other languages is a great life goal to accomplish. Best wishes with your travels and the continued success of your channel. ✊🏼
Ответитьtalking about you is a good thing. if they were hanging around my area id say things about them also. no biggy.
ОтветитьThat truly incredible you can speak all the Asian languages. That isn't easy.
ОтветитьI never experienced this problem in China. Yes, they talked about me, but never wanted photos or chat. I am slightly overweight, balding and 52 years old though 😂😂

ОтветитьI didn’t understand the photo thing?? I love Chinese people, not Chinese Government
ОтветитьI really appreciate when someone speaks many languages, but if she were anything other than blonde, she wouldn't get this reaction. Have a Korean person speak Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, and English, and no one will even raise an eyebrow.
ОтветитьMost of them thought you are Russian like white call every Asian Chinese😂
ОтветитьI wouldn’t oblige to taking pics with strangers especially in day and age pics can be edited for scamming.
Ответить能分清讲出陕西和山西的老外😂
ОтветитьIs that a common Detroit accent?
Most amusing accent I have found in the states is Arizona; all the guys sound exactly the same; fast paced, stern, serious, slight bit of character and care, and as if annoyed to have to use words to communicate.
Texas has the best I have heard by far; how do they make English sound so good?
‘Cause you looks like “typical Russian girl”
ОтветитьI would absolutely take a picture with others!!! How cool! I would feel honored! ❤
ОтветитьShouldn't this channel be called "Western pearl"?
Ответитьchew gum, it makes you look more american.
ОтветитьI can't believe he thought she was Russian 😂😂😂 she's not even pretty 😅 what a silly mistake to make
ОтветитьSubscribed! I don't like it. ..... I ❤ it.
Ответить"They didn't say anything bad but everyone keeps calling me a Russian." Hate to be the one to tell you this but that IS bad ;-;
ОтветитьI spent a semester in China in the 1990s- so funny to know that they STILL want pics with foreigners!
ОтветитьYou are such great fun! Thank you for being a consumate ambasador for us all!
ОтветитьTeach me
ОтветитьYou're so cool... I love people who know a lot of languages
ОтветитьOh great the white devil can now understand us
ОтветитьWell, just to point that a lot asian speaks ≥3 languages and doesn't get any praise. But, when it is an American, WOW, so smart. Not saying you are not talented. Just stating that, and the fact the japanese are very polite, modest and will be "wow" even if you speak 2 languages (english and japanese) just because you are a gaijin and they could speak 3 languages.
ОтветитьI would really like you to speak some German :) That would be awesome!
You're truely gifted. I just speak my own language (German) and English (more or less fluent) and a bit of the neighbour country languages (spanish, french and greek). Non of them enough for a whole conversation like you do on you channel.
I visited China for 2 weeks and I was asked constantly for pictures. It was disorienting, at first, as I was a bit self conscious, but I entertained every person who asked. They don't get to see a lot of foreigners unless they're in Shanghai or the more touristy areas.
ОтветитьI have been to China for a roundtrip a couple years ago.
I didnt mind to get on the pictures with the people as long as they asked me. One time we where in XI'an at the city wall waiting in the courtyard. There was a chinese man with his 8 month old daughter walked towards me and without asking put his daughter in my hands for a picture. I felt a little bit confused and unconfortable by this action.
