I love how he puts his hands on chris' to make it look like there was no struggle and that he shot himself but he still shot him in the forehead, an angle that makes basically no sense in terms of suicide
ОтветитьHaha his worst fear is that he lied to his wife about going to the gym. How does that weigh up against killing a guy (out of self defence too).
ОтветитьWhy didn't he lay on the horn when the car appeared. Barry couldn't have shot him then. Probably would be 3 dead people then.
ОтветитьAnd any life insurance policy he had for his wife and kid will be voided.
ОтветитьJust gonna leave all those fingerprints and shit in the car with a dead body huh…
ОтветитьThe first few times I watched this scene, I assumed when Barry asked "why'd you just say that", he was referring to Chris's final statement about going to the cops no matter what. Now though, I think Barry was talking about the lie about the gym. Barry knew Chris was likely going to crack and that killing him was the logical thing to do. Barry didn't want to do it, and so long as he had the excuse that Chris's wife would connect him, Barry could keep himself from taking that step. Now that he knows no one will connect him, Barry no longer has any excuse not to kill Barry right then and there.
ОтветитьI don't know about you, but if a hitman tells me to keep a secret, I will.
Ответить"Just hear me out" - "nope"
Ответитьpsychopaths in Hollywood promoting psychopath behavior in society and then we walk outside and actually surrounded by a bunch of white Western murderous psychopaths
ОтветитьChris looks like Bob Dylan
ОтветитьThis was the moment when I realized that Bill Hader wasn't going to redeem Barry and we needed to adjust our expectations about what kind of show this was.
ОтветитьBill hader really played an awesome assassin
ОтветитьPeople miss out that Barry got mad not because Chris said he was going to the police. It was because he lied to his wife he was going to the gym. This means his last connection with Barry, which is his wife initially thinking they were together, was gone. Barry could kill Chris and the only person who could link both of them thought Chris was going to the gym instead.

ОтветитьAnother lesson in, "If this is that important, do not base whatever you want to say on emotion and your "feelings." Suck it up and cry later. Yet our society constantly reinforces the concept that is exactly what is most important. In this case by the time Chris gets to the words that got him killed, he has already expressed an emotional willingness to sacrifice Barry, his own family, and his own freedom--which will wreck the lives of everyone around him, so that he can feel better about himself. He is perfectly willing to sacrifice others in that quest. He could have said to himself "I made a mistake. I put myself in this position and I need to own it. Not by destroying others who did not make the decision I did--but to keep my mouth shut. If at a later time, with careful thought, if I still feel the way I do right now, I can make that decision in a way that hopefully impacts only me and no one else. But I need time. Until that moment happens--shut up."
This is a common theme. Saw a news show years ago where a father was upset because he had left a firearm lying around his residence and his kid had picked it up and accidentally killed himself. So was the guy on that show to preach safety and training? To not be irresponsible like him? Nope. He was supporting a gun control law that would essentially disarm his entire town because "I want to make sure that what happened to me never happens to anyone else." That's great--but how about you isolate that feeling to just yourself. Or go on a lecture tour where "you" tell people about firearms safety and property training and storage. Oh, but that would involve "you" owning your own screwup. It's better to have people slap you on the back and congratulate you for trying to make a difference by taking a right away from people who have never left a firearm lying around for a kid to pick up.
Anyway, talking about taking responsibility. Chris in this story could have said "Barry, I can't live with this--so I need you to do me a favor. I need to make sure that my family is safe and suffer no consequences for the decision I made. I want to make sure the insurance is paid up. That there is no backlash against anyone--except me. Then let's go out and you can hit me over the head with a rock. Make it look like I was robbed. That way, my "feelings" get honored, and nobody suffers--as best as I can make it--except me." But nope. "Chris would probably say "What!? No Barry. I don't want to actually die! I just need you to honor my feelings." And Barry did.
I remember Chris Marquette from the Disney Channel back in the day
ОтветитьSome sad shit , mo f*cka said he didn’t want live anymore
ОтветитьThis isnt real.
Ответить.... and to think, people LIKE this guy lol.... that's why serial killers are so successful, you people fall in love with psychos haha
ОтветитьBill Hader in serious role, WHOA!
ОтветитьHe should've taken his shoes off before walking away from car.
ОтветитьSnitches Get Stitches
ОтветитьWAIT WAIT WAIT NO
ОтветитьJacksFilms wasn't the same after sniperwolf incident 😂😂
ОтветитьI haven’t watched the show. I guess I figured Barry would be a decent person. Clearly not true.
ОтветитьChris was his old partner, you know
ОтветитьThis is why you keep your mouth shut.
ОтветитьI don't blame Barry for doing this, the guy pressured to be there and wants to drag Barry down with him all for a cartel goon who was just gonna kill both of them.
ОтветитьI think Chris might’ve been the dumbest person in history
ОтветитьWhen the car pulls up man
ОтветитьBro spent 2 and half minutes talking about how he wants to snitch so bad that he’ll snitch on accident and then was like “haha jk man I’m cool you can trust me I’d never tell a soul”
ОтветитьNothing is smarter than telling the professional hitman you’re gonna tell the cops lmao. 😂
ОтветитьHe looks like Amir from Jake and Amir
ОтветитьSeason 3 and 4 were so bad compared to this peak
ОтветитьNo fuc that
ОтветитьThe thousand yard stare was perfect.
ОтветитьPEOPLE JUST DON'T F!@KING LISTEN...
Ответитьnaw fuck chris he hung out with crazies and tagged along and got squeamish after Barry told him to leave when he has a fucking family
ОтветитьBoeing employee of the year.
ОтветитьWhat’s so amazing about this scene is when Chris says “I told her I was coming to see you” was his last attempt to stay alive
ОтветитьJus started binge watching this. Awesome show, especially after I started fast forwarding through Sally's acting career
ОтветитьEhhhh everyone praising this scene but not rlly realistic
ОтветитьDude has the survival instincts of a baby. Even when the car pulled up he could have jumped out and ran, witnesses. Almost got a 2nd chance after screwing up.
ОтветитьThe weird thing about this is Chris is a marine and he's being weird about killing people? Like get over it
ОтветитьBoeing style suicide nice
ОтветитьI hope he decides to make another show
