These content creators are honestly the dumbest people ever they accuse everyone, i could be a casual player running ward to their school and I'm going to get reported for sniping and that's literally how i got to know about liamh - he accused me of "cheating and sniping" when i had no clue who this person was and all i did was run ward. Immediately afterwards i was spammed with reports in the arena by his viewers and this is what fucking "harrassment" is.

Cant input something intended for the game then get mad when people start being resourceful. Ex. Jades in pvp, maycast being overly used, & lore spells

Hey, do you think if they made players queue for pvp from a button instead of physically going to the arena or would decrease sniping in any way? Probably just remove the physical arena but it's just a question.

Man why is the game so pvp focused

The problem is the devs are convinced the direction they are taking the game in is so amazing, adding pins, adding level restrictions, adding spellments, for corporate greed (when they are other/easier ways to make money). But they don't realize that angering players(because thats what the community is right now angry), and pushing them out of the pvp system just to milk a few individual cash cows, is the LEAST sustainable business model. I have no idea when, or if they will ditch their stubbornness and just bring back the old pvp system so people can play and enjoy pvp again, but it sure is sad seeing what the game is now.

I disagree, snipping a streamer is purposefully doing something that isn't allowed. It's not necessary to cater the game to snipers to stop them from doing it, banning them is better and sets a clear example. Anyone can rob a store with a weapon, you don't blame the store, you blame the robber. Failed negigilance on the developers design is a fault in the game, but changing the game specifically because of obnoxious wizheads who have egos over their rank is going to ruin the game even more. We literally have first hand experience in this after watching the devs remove chatting in the arena because of these same people. That's something I used to love doing and now I can't talk to anyone during matches. Pvp banning is the best method to stop sniping and I'm glad they chose it over continuing to revolve their (toxicity cleaning) updates around shitheads.

The fix to stream sniping is either A) adding a stream delay, or B) making your game harder to snipe in. Why do we rarely ever hear about stream/queue sniping in CSGO? Overwatch? Nearly any other AAA competitive title out there? It's because A) Streamers of those games are responsible enough to know that when you queue for ranked, you queue with a delay, and B) makers of the games know that sniping is terrible and have made great strides in minimizing sniping as much as possible.

Unfortunately, with wiz, I'm not sure how you could make sniping harder without drastically increasing queue times and adding boatloads of restrictions to ranked matches. Not to mention that ro-shit-bo makes the game into esoteric rock-paper-scissors meaning some schools just auto lose to others no contest.

With the low player count of this game, not to mention the even smaller pvp population, I don't see this new age of PVP going over very well.

It’s really the issue of the game being dead so you easily can que up with the person you know is gonna que up immedtely after their fight. There’s no actual issue with spectate. It’s the fact you can check when they finish their match and then you can abuse the game being dead and que with them

Eh, you can’t blame the devs for making it easy to cheat. You still have to make the decision. They got what they deserved. They can’t complain.

Well the issue is harassment. People could claim that stream snipers are getting harassed by other players which is against the games policy. It's still illegal regardless if it's still in the game or not. I don't care, I don't play this game anymore, I just love the drama haha

it literally says in tos that if you exploit flaws in the game to harass people or gain unfair advantages, you are going against what’s accepted in the agreement. these people whining about getting muted for violating tos should be happy they have their wizards

I snipe Sauce and Liam because they aren't good people they're cocky, act like they're better than everyone and are just outright rude this is evident in streams. Ppl didnt feel this way about Blake or Jay back in the day. It's who they are as people which contributes as to why people dont like them.
