If you look at it from a series perspective the omnitrix turn Ben into the prime version of any species depending on his age rath being nude proves he’s the prime version of an Apoplexian Because if they wear clothes out of shame then rath doesn’t wear clothes cause he has none which makes him more manly in my opinion

I mean I never questioned it the same way every other alien was also probably naked. It’s interesting tho that omniverse added suits to the aliens but should’ve made that change til after that episode

Honestly i never liked Rath. But i too never questioned why he was naked.

It was a tad odd seeing some aliens having clothes and other do not. I think it was a retroactive joke they wanted to make just to try and be funny while needing an excuse to redesign Rath

What might have happened is someone made an adult drawing of Wrath and one of the writers saw it and course corrected

I know what you're on about Ink Kuro I know, Shear Khan from the animated and live Action Disney Jungle Book, Tigger from Winnie the Pooh Bear, Rath, Ben's naked aliens and Ben's clothed aliens. Lastly I've had the Frosted Flakes Cereal a few times at home I've seen it on supermarket shelves, in fact i have paid work currently as shelf filler irl in Sainsbury's Chertsey (Great Britain County Surrey Supermarkets). Or though i prefer the live action take on Disney's Jungle Book cuz the animals look so beautifully photo graphic and had such fascinating characteristics.

could be a reference to the whole adam and eve thing, being naked in the garden of eden, but without knowing they were naked and not having that knowledge they had no concept of it or shame. Some aliens may not have a concept of being "naked" at all, and could see clothing as either a mark of high status or see it as armor other species need to wear. For many of ben's aliens not having garb could be just the natural state of things, and aliens in undertown or on earth wear clothing because they adapt to the culture around them

As far as I know rath's genetic donor was a nudist or the omnitrix's clothing feature suffers from ben's slapping of the omnitrix.

I'm pretty sure it's just a joke about how the UAF era aliens didnt have uniforms. But also would it actually recontextualize older Rath appearances? Like it's not unreasonable to assume that given how many sentient species there are, that most people/aliens don't know that he should be wearing clothes. Like Blukic and Driba didn't know. And yeah they're idiots but neither did Max and Rook and they're always considered to be very knowledgeable on alien cultures.

You know cloths had different functions and they still have a function but when it is not required we are still required to wear one because of society. Shame is a human construct for the sake of societal acceptance. Cloths now have the function of telling who is where on the social hierarchy.

It really didn't matter that Rath didn't wear pants because we've seen other alien species who also don't wear pants in their natural environment, look at the Hybreed or Celestial Sapiens, I don't see no pants on those folks. If anything, Rath's species should loathe clothing since their natural instinct is to punch first, clothing would restrict their movement, it's why boxers use outfits that tend to stay open and cover only what they need to.
