L'unico motivo è dato dal presidente Conte che ha immesso miliardi in un settore fantasma come quello immobiliare, permettendo a costo 0 di ristrutturare casa,obbligando gli artigiani a dichiarare in regola le prestazioni. Idraulici,elettricisti,muratori hanno dichiarato più del doppio del loro fatturato del 2019.
Oggi siamo decisamente in recessione,visto che il governo Meloni ha chiuso a poco più del dello 0% nonostante 202 miliardi di pnrr, fatti avere dal suo predecessore Giuseppe Conte.Senza quelli il dato sarebbe pesantemente in negativo.

Our economy is doing well? I seriously did not know that considering under meloni almost all taxes increased and our purchasing power decreased. And don't believe employement figures, the government considers someone "working" as long as you work a day a month.

Italian SMEs have been suffering a lot due to impossibility of growth, heavy taxes, and increasing pressure and competition from abroad. The government in the last 40 years did nothing but help the big companies rather than the family run businesses. Now FMEs are not the backbone of Italy anymore and are either suffering or straight up closing. Plus the increase of gas and electricity prices has been suffered a lot by the population nonetheless, since salaries are low and the cost of life went up drastically; higher energy prices are another nail in the coffin. Soon the average (not owners, not doctors etc.) workers (yes, graduates too, not only working class) will not be able to spare a single dime at the end of the month (literally, not figuratively) if things don't change.

Are you guys on crack? I'm from Italy's wealthiest township and even here people are feeling a squeeze. Well now I moved to Portugal but I know lots of people back home who are definitely not doing good, hell my old golf club halved the green fees and if you play during the week as a non member it's so cheap these days and it's packed with people who are out of work and not bothering looking for one the standard way as you are more likely to find employment at the club house than by sending CVs, much more likely.

This is a total lie, I don't care how long you lived here or if your personal financial prosperity is good, the MACRO picture is VERY poor and there is NO advantage at all very small "mom/pop " companies that DO EMPLOY the vast majority of citizens--- people here are just so USED TO LIVING a serious minimalist life and doing without SO MUCH--- we THINK we are doing okay, but we are not AT ALL! Small businesses do NOT pay much, just levels to SUSTAIN a minimalist life and that is WHERE IT ENDS!


If the tourist part of of the economy were to slow even a little-- it would have SERIOUS real effects! That is how much the Italy is SO dependent on TOURISM!
The big names that people know to be in the fashion industry are ONLY for the top 10% -12% wealthy, the OTHER people who WANT to buy high fashion and luxury items ALWAYS push
themselves into DEEP DEBT! They really can't afford the high end fashions!
Technology companies in Italy are NOT at ALL competitive with the like of USA, Germany and other countries!

Io sono un medico e a malapena riesco a pagare le spese , mio padre anche era medico e oltre a mantenere moglie e figli senza problemi cambiava auto ogni due anni roba tipo Volvo s40 no utilitarie NEGLI ANNI '90, avevamo anche una casa al mare di 80 mq con il parquet come pavimento . Oggi più volte all'anno devo chiedere a lui di coprire qualche bolletta , e non sono riuscito a farmi una casa mia e io e mia moglie siamo due medici !!!! L'ECONOMIA NON ESISTE grazie al mancato controllo sul cambio dell'euro lira nel 2000, da una mattina all'altra quello che costava 1000 lire costava un euro invece del cambio deciso nella stupidissima Bruxelles .... macchine da 40 milioni di lire sono passate a 40000 euro cioè ottanta milioni .Ma gli stipendi sono fermi da vent'anni ,in tutti i settori la ricchezza si trasferisce anno dopo anno dagli statali ma anche da privati come me che non alzano i prezzi tutti i giorni a buffoni ladri che : esempio per le fondamenta della mia casa hanno fatto 3 preventivi sullo stesso progetto stessa azienda Gennaio 20000 euro giugno 30000 a Novembre erano arrivati a 40000 euro perchè il cemento e il ferro erano aumentati risposta loro !!!! Italians, despite all inefficiencies and low levels of social capital, live much better than most other Europeans - thanks to an amazing climate, gorgeous landscapes and seascapes, history, culture, food, low crime. 85% of people own their own home. To live like an Italian in most other countries you need to earn six figure sums (and you still would not live like the average Italian).

Replace debt with trust use solar, geothermal ( deep and shallow ) and heat pumps, wind and sea energy and there will the much needed conditions for lasting peace everywhere.
