Anker Soundcore C30i vs Bose Ultra Open Earbuds: Worth It To Pay More?

with the anker set, my hair gets in the way literally everytime i try to use the touch controls, that and the flimsy case lid are my only complaints.

I have tangzu wan'er. I liked it's forward vocals, some clarity and little bit subbass sometimes. I want to upgrade on better bass, a very good surround sound stage and excellent separation in the sound and the superb comfort. My budget is around 100-150$. Can you suggest me the best one based on my experience with the current one. I'm confused whether it's worth spending this much if the budget iem like kefine klean, simgot ew300 (heard has some qc issues) are so good. Also simgot em6l has qc issues.

Bose is way over priced..

As someone who owns both, I have barely used the Anker. They are much less comfortable than the Bose, and that’s the real reason I bought both of them. I find IEMs that seal the ear canal to be deeply unpleasant. The Bose basically disappears on my ear and I have caught myself leaving the office still wearing them having forgotten to put them away first. Further, I believe the Bose also sound much better than the Anker. To my ear, the Bose are more natural. The Anker have a thin sound with little to distinguish between different frequencies. Everything sounds condensed, like listening to an old school earbud that’s sitting wrong in your ear. Also, not a runner—just someone who cares deeply about comfort with headphones. If I had my way, I’d just use speakers, but a shared office makes the Bose the second best option while the Anker aren’t really an option at all.
