Im shocked by Reytons being so unpopular with the trees audience.
ОтветитьSurely the band which is insane that youve just confirmed for trees is million dead 👀
ОтветитьI do wonder if you think the podcast is helping with ticket sales/booking at all?
It definitely keeps my excitement for trees up and my group chat seems to be more excited for this year than any other
I'd be interested to see where Baby Shark comes up in the data with all the family plan spotify accounts
ОтветитьI hope we get the clues deciphered for us on this bonus pod. Really happy to hear we are getting that too 😎👍
ОтветитьThe O2 venues always feel overcrowded to me, they're definitely calculating their capacity differently to most venues, maybe because they seem to have balconies and other areas that nobody uses.
Definitely appreciated the sacrifices on damnation capacity back in Leeds, I remember the crowded year not being as enjoyable as the others, mainly because moving around that venue was a pain. Thankfully not an issue at BEC.
Gavs “gammon kick in comment” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьShame to hear Acid Bath not on the radar. Sad times but understandable where the money comes into it.
ОтветитьBristol O2 Academy sold out is uncomfortable.
Marble Factory in Bristol sold out is awesome.
I will avoid the Academy unless its someone really special. Biohazard & Life Of Agony next year will get me i there.
Getting Acid Bath would be enormous, they are a fantastic band. It's probably more apt to compare them to Bolt Thrower 2014 rathet than Botch. Appreciate it isn't the be all and end all but for comparison, Spotify monthly listens:
Botch: 34.6k
Bolt Thrower: 162.1k
Acid Bath: 351.9k
"You're putting me off my headbanging" 🤣
ОтветитьI generally don't like to slag off bands, but yeah, get The Wombats so far tae F
Ответить👀Post rock gig and holding a Lord of the Ring book ? I feel seen
ОтветитьLOVE the love for Russian Circles, one of my all time favourites.
Gav - for what it's worth - blind birds for the OGs and an announcement in Jan is better in my opinion. Rewarding those who stick by you before anything is announced ♥
My feeling about the Nazi black metal bands is that there are a few big obvious ones which would put me off attending any festival who would book them, & there are a few suspicious ones which would raise a red flag and maybe cause some disappointment at the edgy fans that they’re likely to attract, who will make others feel unsafe.
That aside, I don’t think threatening people achieves anything really - there’s a conversation to be had, which reasonable people can do & beyond that it comes down to what kind of show you want to be running, what kind of fans you want, and, in the end, ticket sales.
As for the gammons who act the way they did towards DQSH and James, hopefully they all step on an upturned plug
