I donate my bags to homeless with seasonal gear
ОтветитьI love your house!
ОтветитьSeems to me that more was retained than disposed of!
ОтветитьThat Make Up bag which you don't know if you will use, the new one, is also perfect for keeping things like cables, batteries and other electronic equipments. Or it could also be used for things like medicine, band-aid, and so on :)
ОтветитьI take a digital video of a chair yoga class with me on trips. I can alway throw a towel over a chair in a hotel or cruise ship cabin so I don’t have to worry about hygiene.
ОтветитьYou could use the brush holder for pens/pencils or charging cables too 😁
ОтветитьI would have loved to shop for travel items at the place you donated to.
ОтветитьPillow Blanket: I have a couple that we use for long haul flights but I also love them in my winter car kit or for road trips.
ОтветитьFascinating, you kept me mesmerised. It’s 2 months till my Poland trip but you make me want to pack now. 🇦🇺
ОтветитьLast week I donated 2 suitcases I bought for my hubby. He never used them, I’d used them a few times for road trips but overall they sucked. They are heavy and what made them unique is they have a pullout shelving system you can hang in a closet. The shelves took up so much space. The concept was cool but it just wasn’t functional, especially for flying, the 2 sizes were check only not carryon so that sucked.
Ответитьvery curious about the umbrella that you kept
ОтветитьI have an inflatable neck pillow, once deflated it takes up no space at all. An old neck injury makes it necessary, if you spot something like that it can be so useful.
ОтветитьI really need to do this. I have an obscene amount of travel stuff.
ОтветитьI liked the Turtl a lot, but they just upgraded it, and the new one is AMAZING. It's pricey but really worth it. The Turtl website usually has better deals than Amazon.
Ответить@GenxGypsy1968 I am prepping for an upcoming trip to Barcelona / Paris. I have seen the tips on putting clothes in a neck pillow. Someone told me it may be considered a personal item. Any thoughts ???
Ответитьi love my Trtl. I fall asleep before the plane leaves the runway and its made it a lot better.
ОтветитьMy personal item bag is a fancy comfy small pack pack with plenty of pockets. It’s waterproof inside and out so it’s for flying for what I need on plane etc, day out bag and even beach bag.
ОтветитьInspiring me to declutter and organize. Thanks!
ОтветитьI dislike the collapsible water bottle. How you do wash the inside of them?
ОтветитьI have a very VERY similar jewelry case (maybe an updated version- is it bagsmarts?) and LOVE it - after trying SO MANY! Its compact, travels flat, holds the right amount, doesnt tangle my chains, its GREAT! But a perfect example of what one person doesnt like/use - is perfect for another!
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьThe Scubba wash bag looks like it would be great to take to the beach for wet towels and swimsuits.
ОтветитьThe blue silicone Amazon container could hold a toothbrush and tablets.
ОтветитьI use my scrubba wash bag on every trip. I do a cycling holiday every second year and we camp along the journey. It also doubles as a dry bag so 2 in one. I used it to float down the Rhine last year. Perfect for minimalist travel when you don’t always have access to a sink or bathtub.😊
ОтветитьLove this! I use wooden pants hangers and hang my backpacks in a closet. It keeps them off the floor and easy to find. 😊
ОтветитьNeck pillow. Take stuffing out. Fill clothes in it n close it with velco or zipper
ОтветитьI wear no jewelry. ❤
ОтветитьOh my goodness: if you do decide to get rid of the trtl pillow neck brace I will absolutely buy it if affordable. When I got mine the my were 75% the cost. Been trying to find a used one in budget for my husband.
ОтветитьI have one of those jewellery cases. Only useful if you are doing something like a cruise where there’s no luggage limitation and you are going to be dressing up several times. Otherwise I only take the jewellery I travel in and keep it simple
ОтветитьI’ll bet you can hang your backpacks from your closet rod instead of putting them on the floor.
ОтветитьThey don’t have that cooler bag anymore :(
ОтветитьShe has SO MANY Bags! (just like me! >_<)
ОтветитьI have a travel clothes capsule & travel toiletries. When I get back from holidays I wash everything & repack my carry on ready for nest trip 👍
ОтветитьWhat was the pretty rainbow striped thing you never mentioned?? It's killing me not knowing what it is! LOL You had already put it in the "little things" box, and never mentioned what it was. Maybe a towel???
ОтветитьOne day i went through all my small items ans toiletries that i had collected. Then i made individual ziploc bags filled with toothpaste, travel tooth brushes, soaps etc etc and handed them out to homeless in my area. They were very well received. Homeless can utilize backpacks and other items to hold their small stuff. Consider giving to homeless or homeless shelters.
ОтветитьThanks for the video; it was very helpful. I am also undecided on the Turtl neck support. I like everything to be visible, so I choose clear storage bags, etc. You are very organized. You live in a wonderful place by the beach—wow!
Ответить🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
ОтветитьI love my Scrubba! I used it on a trip to the Uk and Scotland for more than three weeks, and then the UK and Croatia for three weeks. Sinks are often tiny, or don't have drain plugs, or things are sometimes not that clean in old funky hotels and B&Bs. Having a quick and easy way to do laundry frees you from wandering around trying to find a place to do laundry - which was so problematic for two weeks in Iceland we gave up looking, and didn't find one until the end of our trip - and who wants to spend time in a laundromat while on vacation? Or having to rent aa specific Air BnB just because it has a washer and hopefully a dryer? I use liquid SOAK, which needs no rinsing, thus saving on water and time. We also wear merino wool socks and t-shirts, or items that wash and dry quickly, so we can pack a 30 litre backpack or carry on suitcase for three + weeks and not worry about not having enough clothes.
ОтветитьThe silicone brush carrier could probably house a thin resistance band, keep it from unravelling. Would be smaller than the foldable mat, but still allow for some exercises.
ОтветитьMy scrubba is much better than backache from leaning into a bath or trying to use a difficult shape sink or one that won't seal.
The "washboard" in the back of the scrubba gets my clothes clean and fresh fast by giving good agitation.
I think it depends on what you need to do. I find a scrubba really useful for a few quick items so for me it's in my regular travel kit. I think if people don't need to wash delicate items regularly, it may not be as suitable.
As a traveller who has to wear compression every day, being able to clean it on the road means I need a wash kit of my scrubba, a washing line and ikea Skubb pegs with loops on them.
Is that igloo cooler the 10 can or the 20 can?
ОтветитьYou could always store the empty bags on a hanger if your low on the floor space :)
ОтветитьI keep all of my travel items inside my luggage. This video has inspired me to reorganize my travel items. I think I’m going to reorganize and have 1 set for traveling by plane and a second set for cruises. I live near Galveston so can just drive to the Cruise ship. There are certain things you need on a cruise where as traveling on a plane I usually limit what I bring since I only do carryon and no check bags.
ОтветитьI bought the infinity scarf after reading glowing reviews. Well it clearly showed I had my passport or phone in it. I am not going to use it again
ОтветитьI had severe neck pain before a trip and had to use a soft neck brace when going on a long trip. Turned out it was the best neck pillow and I slept so well as it kept my head in place so now it goes everywhere with me.
ОтветитьI liked the 2 cooler bag idea for hot and cold stuff. And you can use them to protect souvenirs too coming home.
Ответитьyour trailer looks adorable and love your location!!
